I haven't even managed to check in and y'all have already produced 4 pages of posts.

I am not sure if this question has been asked yet, but I was wondering whether we can for instance choose to Allocate or to Divulge twice? Or do we always have to choose two different options?

This seems, unlike Trust Fall, to be a very much team-effort based setup. There's a lot more options to choose, which means that as town, we need to choose carefully.

My head hurts though so I'll figure out what to do later, depending on the headache that could be tomorrow. Sorry.

With Divulgence we never have to worry about a mislim, and we have more time to proliferate PRs. However, it does put scum 100% in control of deaths, assuming no PR interference, and in the event we mistakenly give scum a PR and they role Vengeful or Vig or PGO or something... That could be very problematic.

I do think having safety in eliminations and more PRs overall is worth that risk though.

Divulge or Depart. In addition, we can nominate someone for a PR. So we get two options, but not chosen out of three. Nowhere in the rules does it say that you cannot nominate yourself to get a PR. So I'm nominating myself, because why the hell not.

I kinda agree that Departure is more optimal, it makes sense for scum to just kill the conftowns each night if we only ever Divulge. Otherwise if we do reveal scum with a Divulge, we have to use a second Day phase to actually eliminate them, while they get two night phases to kill off townies. We actually have to play a lot more perfectly for Divulge to give us better results than just sticking with Departure.

As promised, I am back from my V/LA before the scheduled EoD 1. I have no objections towards Divulging myself for the good of the game, although I treat being Divulged as a death sentence. Which is why, if possible, I would like to divulge a slot that cannot be towncleared in any other way.

Can you elaborate more on Roden? I often have trouble reading him but yeah he could be town here.

had a good, pro-town observation in 15 and 18, which I seconded and openly supported. I don't think a mafia would have made such an observation, when it's clear that they can nullify the Divulge effect by killing off pretty much any outed townie the following Day.

He also got upset at being suspected, which is what

does when he's town (343). Townies get angry at being suspected very often, but

does it always. Having these two in mind, I was happy to townclear him for the purpose of Day 1.

Frog and Bella stayed on Greeting, first instinct is to say they're probably spewed town, but it's possible for it to have been competing town wagons and not matter where scum placed their votes. And I don't really scum read anyone who joined the Kitty wagon, RCE is null for me but everyone else felt townie at different points during D1. A recent scum game of his where his play was a bit similar, low activity but long posts. The only real difference is that he was widely town read in that game and I got side-eyed for wanting to Cop check him. Gut and game state made me think he was suspicious there, I just didn't have much substantive evidence and he ended up winning.

If you're town, I urge you to put your past game grudge behind.

By the way, I could access the scumchat past my death in the game. Not sure if this was intentional or a mod oversight. I kept quiet about it though as I wanted to know what you two were up to, and I would not use any info from it to affect the game anyway.

I had said this before in the dead thread, but if this setup is to be re-ran, the mafia team needs to be strengthened.

My biggest issue with this setup was that no matter what we did, we got penalised. And that was not the case for town.

Every night we had a choice of kill between conf!town vs. PR. If we chose one, the other remained in the game. Next night, best case scenario, was a repeat, or, just like it happened, town got Doctor/Jailkeeper and stopped the kill (they nearly always had a more than 50% chance of knowing whom we would target).

And if one of us gets a PR, with each passing day, it gets harder to justify why is the mafia PR still alive in the game. Town complacency saved us here, but under normal circumstances this setup favoured town.
