So you are esentially defending yourself by making up things about yourself that didn't happen in order to theorhetically prove how you would act if what you are being accused of was true?

...does that mean you are only hypothetically defending yourself as well then?

As opposed to providing anything real and useful?

Just curious.

The way you phrased "giving an example" to "making up things about yourself that didn't happen" makes it appear scummy , but you're statement is true -> my nat and charter vote weren't indecisive and this example was to show actual indecisive behavior.

You accused me of being indecisive. So don't you consider my replies to those accusations as real and useful?

Ah, sorry. The explanation(which turned out to be wrong) fit in with my time frame at the time of that post. Now for your questions...

MafiaSSK: You say he's been much more aggressive in other games. Care to share some examples of that? In what way has he been more aggressive as compared to this game?

ooba: I apologize. Your votes weren't random...unjustified? I'm not sure what the word is. What I'm trying to say is that you like to change your vote with little or no explanation. I'm not saying I have a strong case on you(lynching you would be a bad decision at this point). The best example of bandwagon jumping is post 124, where you vote charter without stating your reasons.

And I know my activity has been lacking, but that's mostly because of time constraints, and the fact that it's been hard to jump into this game at this point. Plus, there hasn't been much to say without repeating myself twenty times.

Okay, I promise to post more from now on, if I can remember this forum.

But anyway, I don't find ooba suspicious right now, as he started the game by saying that he didn't want to random vote, which I don't think scum would have done. It's too unnecessary when scum can just vote and blend in.

I also find it interesting that the charter bandwagon lost steam very quickly - while I'd like MafiaSSK to be more specific, I think there's some value to whatever meta he's seen. I also think that charter's posts, especially the one of being sure that SensFan is town, is scummy.

So
unvote, vote: charter

Let me get this straight. So my meta read on Sens is that he is town, and using that is scummy. MafiaSSK's meta read on me is that I am scum, and using that is the best course of action? How is the situation any different?

Same thing for the others who hold this belief.

I actually find SSK's read irrelevant to my vote. The only people so far referencing it as a rationale are Electra and SSK himself. (That said, I do think they are materially different, but I'll let Electra and SSK speak for themselves before explaining why I do.)

I also want to note that the deadline is about a week and a half off, so we need more posting from people. We're showing signs of stalling, which is a very bad thing.

Oh, crap...we have a deadline? This could change things...I think a meta may have merit, but I would like to see some
specific examples
of how charter has been more aggressive in other games before changing my vote.

Bah, temporarily forgot about this. Not too sure about the wagon on charter and I wish I could validly add something about his meta, though I've only played one game with him - and his playing doesn't seem very different.

Just so nobody else is shocked, this game has fixed deadlines. The date is in the opening post of the game. So for today, the deadline is October 22, which is the Wednesday after next (a bit more than a week and a half away). The deadline time is also listed in the same location. You're welcome.

Electra, why not just hit the watch topic button so you don't have to remember about the forum par itself? You can have all your games in one area...

Your vote I understand. I'm looking for reasons from the others (using MafiaSSK's meta read).

Well, my hope in bringing the deadline up was that it would get people posting more. It seems we have little spits of a few posts, and then nothing for almost a day. So in Natirasha's post I saw not only, "Don't worry about the deadline," (ideally true -- I'd rather us lynch legitimately without running into the deadline) but also, "There's no urgency to post" (which I have a problem with). Combined with the fact that he has yet to actually contribute anything, and that his post contributed nothing besides what might be interpreted as a lame rationalization of his contributing nothing, I felt it was worth calling him out.

Then make it not boring? You are more to fault for that than most here, since you haven't posted anything useful, or anything longer than single line posts.

Or just ask to be replaced, early on, before a replacement would get bogged down on having too many pages to read.

You clearly are worthless as far as this game goes so far.
And don't worry I won't even mention your meta.
