Sheesh. It seems anything other than random voting or OMGUSing gets chucked in the WIFOM basket. The whole point of this game is that one side has information and the other doesn't. The side that doesn't, must of necessity engage in speculation and second-guessing of motives, or else sit around until a mafia confesses out of sheer boredom. I stick to my opinion that the mafia wouldn't be dumb enough to bandwagon someone straight up, so it is in my opinion chasing the wind to go after someone on that basis. Call it WIFOM if you will, I call it eliminating unlikely possibilities to concentrate on more likely ones until there is more information to work with. This includes the possibilities of the scum being stupid or brazen. If they are, well it won't keep them alive in the long term.

The only reason I had to hammer was because I made a mistake voting the first time and didn't unvote. if I hadn't made the mistake, I wouldnt have had to revote. mellowed, on the other hand if it weren't for my mistake would have hammered. Mellowed didn't make a mistake and planned on hammering anyway. I hammered to a) finalize my vote and b) vote for someone that I truly believed was scum.

his claim seems bogus for a few reasons..
1) he sais his i net time is cut off for study time by his parents and this is his last post then 4 hours later he comes on and claims 1 shot vig.
2) very convienant claimin one shot vig and using his one kill on day one, he no longer will have to prove himself with future kills and if we dont lynch him and he survives the night he can say the scum must think hes useless since he cant kill anymore.
3) he could be tryna draw out the real vig so his buddies can kill him (the real vig should not claim if it isnt MM.

at this point i wont vote him, but he has put the town in a tough spot, hes saying he cant post now and make a big claim like that, i think the best option is to replace him and move on or just simply lynch him since his power role is used up according to him, im not sure whether i believe him or not at the moment.

hmm i just want 2 step in and say, BM you should know better that when people are gettin BW and they fake claim they keep the fake claim to the death, we just went through this in mafia 75, when i was SK and claimed VIG i insisted i was vig untill the end.

Hey guys. Uh I've been off the computer for 4 days, so I am still catching up with my games. I don't know why I'm not dead yet, but anyways I haven't read what's been going on since day started: Here's what I will say:


I killed BM, and I don't know why only one person died.
I thought he kept leading the town in many ways, and lead us to that townie lynch. Besides, none of his cases made any sense, yet he kept pushing at whoever he wanted to, and people kept following. His style of play was so confusing, and was basically making me groused.

That's all I have to say.

BM was a key role in saving you from a lynch and you followed him onto plenty of wagons. i dont remember you showing any suspicions to him yesterday.

Uh... just so everyone knows, I sort of skimmed and then read the bigger discussions and a few analysis's, but I don't really like Riceball for his voting without any well though out case, and the posting accusation against Valiant was weird. Q21 also comes off bad for his aggression to kill an uncounterclaimed vig. Those are really my two big scum vibes, not town vibes across the board with the other people either, but until this game picks up, I'm really not sure.

I never intended to prevent discussion, I just wanted discussion to involve more than just four or five people. Overall: MM and BM are showing to be quite scummy, and I don't like it. I think MM almost deserves policy LAL, especially saying he wasn't going to have access, then posted more frequently than the rest of the game. I still want to know what happened to VV.

After a quick read, still think MM is quite scummy, but too many people want to see him prove by a NK. The flaw I see is that he could do this NK as either a vig, scum (by having a buddy do it, as he may be RBd), or as an SK.

Alabaska is neutral, leaning scum to me right now. Not convinced enough of a lynch though.

Interested to see what Kuribo and Dizzy turn into. I'm still neutral with those two.

Now that Mellowed Man's on the way, I'm looking pretty hard at Riceballtail. Here's why:

Day 1: He accuses ValiantValant of posting too much, as if he has to defend everything that comes up about them. One, how is posting too much scummy? Two, why shouldn't he have defended everything? Was he supposed to sit there and ignore the accusations, and God knows what misfortune befalls him?

Day 2: Bandwagon much? He gave a very weak reason for voting for BabyGirl86, and it seems like he was backing her into a corner and forcing her out of the game. Bullying bankrupts your credibility if it gets you anywhere at all,

Day 3: His only post is to vote for Mellowed Man because of the lynch-all-liars strategy. Granted, I eventually hammered MM for LAL too, but this is all you have!? Come the heck on!

That's great, but my primary concern with you about Day 3 was your activity. Pop in, vote, pop out. That's all you did.

That was my finals time. I was on LA, so I didn't have much time to make a real elaborate post. Also note how much time the day took in pages, many people only posted once, or not at all. I feel that making me scum from that isn't very considerate of the circumstances.

I'm just fairly suspicious as to how all of my enemies/people who found me suspicious are dead, but yet I haven't killed anyone. Him bringing that fact up makes me think he's trying to peg me with the crime, when I haven't done anything.

I would like to point out the lie in this post. Care to explain how your 4 posts in a 236 post day one is not slacking off? Especially when one of those posts is a confirmation at the beginning of the day and another is an agreement that we should alert the back up mod when xyzzy took a long time to end the day.
