Mini 649-Everything comes down to money(Game Over)

Sensfan has basic knowledge of the setup if I somehow become inable to mod.

Darkly Ranch is an old pioneer city. But it's nearly bankrupt. This is probably due to the mafia problem. See, when the mafia moved in, tourism came to a halt and so did new residents. Then the mafia started killing the cows, they even killed the great Cow King, priding themselves with his leathers! And there went any and all income sources.

So the city decided to eradicate the problem the only way they knew how--pointing fingers at each other and yelling.

Day deadline: Exactly Three weeks from when I open the thread. 24 hour extention for replacements.
Night Deadline: 72 hours, with a 24 hour extension for each replacement. Non-negotiable.
You need a 51% agreement to lynch. After the majority is hit, votes/unvotes are locked in and cannot be changed.
In case of a tie, first to reach that number of votes is lynched.

A purely objective question since this is my first game outside of newbie games: why is allowing roles with nighttalk to communicate until Aug 20th fair? You know... outside of "the mod is always right" reasons...

Because the game is a day start, and as such, the mafia deserve the chance to strategize before the game begins.

off topic, when you get killed do you find out who the mafia are? and when some1's killed do you find out if they were innocent or mafia?

Sorry about the short lynch post, I was out of town and didn't have much time.

Anyways, the town(minus Coron) rejoiced in killing the mafia godfather, and after looting his body, finding tons of cash, they split it up between the town and went to bed.

Y.C was not content to sit around doing nothing all night. He had his PhD and wanted to save someone. He went out, hoping to find a killing. Upon breaking into a warehouse on the outskirts of town, what he saw confused him. Inside, there was two people. Running up to one of them, Y.C proceeded to patch up his wounds. However, in response, the ungrateful whelp shot Y.C in the head. A startling crack broke the two figures talking and another shady-type came in, and the other individual in the head. The dead dude was sirdanilot. Realizing he should flee the scene, the other dude ran until he met up with lifeofpie, who questioned why he had a gun. With no other option, he raised his gun and fired, killing lifeofpie instantly.

Artem, however, forgot his (Admittedly, empty)wallet at town square. Next to the slowly rising pile of dead bodies, he grabbed it.

"Hello, Artem."

Twirling around, a dark, hooded man pushed a gun into Artem's mouth.

"Wrong place, wrong time." And the man pulled the trigger. Artem's lifeless body fell on top of riboflavin's. His wallet identified him as a

vanilla townie.

The town mourns, but they must stay vigilant, if they are ever to get rich.

It is now Day 3. With three alive, it's two to lynch.

Money...it's a drug. A drug that killed Darkly Ranch. Light-Kun stood ready, and voted for Airhead. The tied the noose around her neck and stood back.

"You know, it's kinda sad. All those people died...for a bit of cash." Light-Kun said.
"Yeah. We should add another to the pile." Pulling out his gun, Netlava shot ight-Kun in the heart. And that was the end of him. With that, Netlava walked off, in search of another place to maraud.

The main thing about the game, though, is the town-mafia. They function the same as a normal mafia, except with a different WinCon. I just wanted to see how it would work out. The godfathers were investigation-immune, however, both Light-Kun and Netlava would come up scum if I had a cop in the game.

If you think about it, though, the game can really swing if the Weak Doc survives to day two and clears himself and a dude.

I think that the town deserved this loss, since Netlava played very well the whole game, and the decision for the town mafia to vig in a 9-player game was just stupid.

In short, I put a lot of deaths in such a small game so it would be short. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me, but I gotta get in the Theme Queue.
