I think some of the information is relevant and some is flavor... What if everyone shared their character's first name? I'm thinking that has to give us some information, and I can't see how the scum would use that against us...

I'll share two things for now:

First: almost all of us have night powers of some sort, 10 in fact. I am one of the few who has none.

Second: Whoever has a first name starting with the letter B is a pro-town character.

What about the fact that Nightson's character's name was Dianne Shadowsinger. It doesn't start with a "B" but Nightson was almost guaranteed to be protown (based on the colour green as it almost always indicates protown alignment)

I'm more inclined at this point to believe OMGL because generally town want to hold information until it can be properly utilized and so mafia can not use it against town. For the same reason, Sekinj's claim could be fishy. It really depends on what Sekinj has to say in the coming posts..

Based on the evidence:
Sekinj has been probing more than any townie should for information, especially on day 1 (see my reference to "scumtastic post"). As well as asking for gender and names. She has claimed really early and essentially provided no useful information, You could argue that the information has caused chaos among the town rather than shed light ( OMGL CC).

OMGL: counterclaimed saying he has no night action.

Occam's Razor: "All other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best".

You tell me which one is simpler.

@everyone: I do plan on giving more information when the time calls for it, but my point was that I'm not going to give out more information simply to convince people I am town. That doesn't seem like it would work anyway.

Giving more out now would be a bad idea because from what we've seen all the information you have would be well utilized later in the game. the more you reveal now the more safe claims you will be giving scum.

I see a few possibilities besides OMGL is lieing or sekinj is lieing.

1 Sekinj has some sort of sanity like every other statement is true

2 Sekinj is some kind of skitz and has to tell us two of these "false" facts a day.

3 OMGLs role states must contradict the chancellor once a day.

Some of them may be outlandish but these are just things that can be taken into acount.

I like this. One of them doesn't necessarily have to be scum, they could both be somewhere in between. I still need to hear from OMGL though..

Well based on the current information all our ideas are bound to sound very similar. We are either in the lynch Sekinj wagon, the lynch OMGL wagon or the partial truths wagon. All based on little to no evidence and pretty much "he said, she said" logic. I don't see why either of them would be lying because it would pretty stupid if either of them were. I'm more inclined to believe Sekinj at this point because why would someone claim so early with information that is SO easily countered.

We know definitely that one of them is lying. Figuring out which one is lying is a herculean feat in itself because it seems that even they do not know which one of them is lying. Meaning either one or both of them are scum or some of the information that they've been given is false, which is also bad for the town.

How was OMGL being irrational? It makes sense that he was vanilla based on his role name. Squires are fairly ordinary people. Sekinj, how dos that prove you are sane, it seems that it does the opposite because it proves one of your statements false.

I obviously have a different perspective than all of you, because I am the one who recieved this information I'm using. So far, except for OGML, everything else has fallen in line with my information. Two factors contribute to why I still trust my knowledge 1) I really don't think we can speculate about night choices based on the name of a character. A squire has just as much chance of having a night action as say a herald or some other non-standard character. 2) OGML's nickname was Capricous which means he was erratic. For me, that justifies why he was lying. Everyone's nickname (or lack thereof) is part of their character and is important in context.

Your reasons contradict one another. Just as much as we can't speculate on night choices, we can not speculate on the nicknames and certainly not to prove to a certainty that the knowledge you have is accurate. Moreover that the knowledge you have could lynch players. Its a very dangerous assumption to make to assume that based on a nickname.

Last day, I was being flippant between the possibility that neither of you were scum or one of you was scum. My opinion kept changing because you acted quite scummy at times and then not so scummy at times, so it was very difficult to get a read with no actual information.

Btw, don't try to misrepresent me. I never probed you for information. I said more talk was needed between the two of you (sekinj and OMGL) which means you need to talk more and which gives more evidence not that you need to reveal more info..
As for your case on me:

as day 1 started to come to a close I found that OMGL was probably more town out of the two of them based on the empirical evidence. Leaving that something was fishy with Sekinj. I am not convinced Sekinj is telling the truth whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Sekinj says everyone else in this game has a night action. OMGL counters and is lynched fllipping town. There is no reason whatsoever that OMGL would have lied and I don't buy this "capricous" argument that it was part of his character. It is far more likely that either Sekinj is scum or she is insane.

I agree that it would be weird for the mod to come up with a lot of information to have it be useless so logically Sekinj should be scum.. Although this line of logic is terrible because it outguesses the mod.

In my experience, mass claims have always lead to more chaos, confusion and townies being lynched and as such I don't favour a mass claim.

Qwints is VERY scummy and is pretty much a given scum I would say. Although, if what Sekinj says is true then Sweats is just blatantly lying and he's gotten caught. Based on that I would be more inclined to vote Sweats as he is just blatantly making stuff up.

The town should have won this game. Raver flaked way too much and didn't help the wolves at all, librarian was helping then he flaked too and that caused a lot chaos, and lack of organization, aka night powers not being utilized and kills not being sent in some cases...

The Cass investigation caught me offguard, i thought he would go after STN and because of this error, we were done, lol guess not....
