Votecount #6

Charter [2] (Sthar8, Strife220)
Aioqwe [1] (DarlaBlueEyes)
Melikefood [1] (Aioqwe)

Not Voting [8] (CallMeLiam, ClockworkRuse, Windkirby, Oman, Muerrto, melikefood, Beyond_birthday, charter)

Aioqwe has missed a 48 hour period and has received his first strike (and is getting a prod).

Deadline in four days or so too, by the way.

Hrm... I was just about to ask for a vote-count

it's 4 days until deadline, so once again, we need to get to wagoning. Kiwi hasn't posted anywhere on MS for 3 days. I'm not sure if he's received 'strikes' yet, but I believe if he goes another 24 hours without posting, he gets modkilled. Even if he returns, he'll have to post every 24 hours or else get his third strike. Correct me if my logic is faulty here, but I see no reason to lynch a player if they're going to get mod-killed anyway.

See rules here:
Flameaxe wrote:10) I am requiring all of you to be active. If a player goes without a post for 48 hours, they will receive a prod, as well as one strike. After that prod and strike has been issued, the player will receive another strike for each 24 hour period with no posting.
11) When a player reaches three strikes, they will be modkilled without mercy. This is not helpful to anyone.

So given WK and likely Kiwi are out of the running, that leaves Charter and MLF as the only ones with votes currently. I still like a Charter lynch, as I think he's most likely to be scum. I'm still quite suspicious of Oman, but I'm going on the assumption that he will explain his crappy D1 play (dodging questions, avoiding concrete statements, etc) on D2. MLF looks like generic newbie town to me.

*Edit on refreshing, I see that Aioqwe has only received his first strike, and not two strikes for 72 hours of absence. Presumably the second 24 hour period starts after the prod. I retract what I said about aioqwe until he has received his second strike.

The rules says they receive more strikes after the prod and strike were issued.

Strife, Kiwi has a vote too. You seem to have a lot of trouble with votecounts... Also, by your logic, you shouldn't lynch me, as I have two strikes. I don't think strikes mean anything (with respect to your role), I was out of town and just posted in the V/LA thread and didn't have time to pm my mods and I got two strikes out of it. Does that mean that I shouldn't be lynched ever because I have two strikes, but still plan on participating fully? No. Your logic here is horribly flawed... Let people be immune from lynch because there's a chance they might get modkilled...

Why do you say Kiwi is likely out of the running? Obviously I'm not going to vote myself, and right now I just think Food is a useless townie, so I'm considering Kiwi because speculation about him served to consume a large portion of D1.

When I wrote that I assumed Kiwi had a modkill coming up. I apparently do suck at reading the rules, but I wasn't excluding Kiwi's vote.

I didn't know you had two strikes, but even so, I highly doubt you're going to be mod-killed before the day is over. Kiwi still may be (if he goes 2 more days without posting), and if he is, we need to be ready with the lynch. If he does come back, then, like I said, I drop my statements about not having reason to lynch him.

If someone is modkilled during the day, do we still get a lynch mod?
I think it would be pertinant to find that out first strife...

Mod: If a player returns after the prod or first strike, do they keep the strikes on them or do they go away? Just curious.

Strikes do not go away, it simply resets the 48 hour clock.

I wonder if this is reason to suspect Oman.
*Shrugs*
If the answers are so important, why not make a list of questions for Oman to answer in one big post that says:

We need votes, folks. We need to leave enough time for at least one more wagon to claim.

I'm ok with charter or Kiwi, but my vote alone won't do it.

I said I'd try and I've been swamped, I'm at a summer school with one PC between around 150 people and I've not had a day-off yet today. I've got to see the Doc this afternoon and after that I'll do my best to get here. Sorry I've been useless.

I am eatingg ramen as I type this ^^,

as for the charter/kiwi thing Im a bit more suspicous of Kiwi but looking back I am starting to see a trend from charter that i don't like.

I am also agreeable to either, but i do concur that we need to get a move on, and pick one.

Personally, I would prefer charter over kiwi. I did a reread of both and don't see the justification of the latter's wagon, really...

Ok, questions for Oman here, I know I missed some, apologies. How do the rest of you take for granted that Oman is town? He pretends he's lazy, but look at his defenses whenever anyone casts suspicion on him. He's acts lazy when people ask him to answer questions, but when it's his own neck on the line he's not. Go back and look if you don't believe me, then ask Oman a question or two.

I just went back to page 7, any before then and I won't have them again here.

Post 160. Strife asks you questions.

Because I don't think that the members on it will give much. I took a look at them and decided it was a much more reasonable and a much more logical strategy to focus on other things which were more reliable. You see, newbies often wagon hard as town or scum, so its less reliable.
Windkirby has been on this site for over 4 months and has made almost 400 posts. Kiwi has been on this site for a year and has made over 700 posts. You're offering them a newbie defense?

What are your feelings on Charter's OMGUS over-reaction to my accusation?
ClockworkRuse 259 wrote:Now then... I'll ask it again. XD

Oman- Do you think your gambit worked well? Did you find anything through it?

Oman responds saying he needs to do a reread on me, I haven't really stood out. Now he's flip flopped magically (I assume he didn't do the reread based on how lazy he wants us to think he is with his last post, and he never posted thoughts on me) and voted for me.
ClockworkRuse wrote:Maybe the

While going back through, I realized Kiwi did a bunch of scummy things that even I questioned him about too. Like I said before, I think Food is just useless, and since I know I'm not a good lynch for today,
vote Kiwi

Why do you guys say you'd prefer my lynch, but you don't vote me (obviously not strife or sthat)? I honestly can't see any reason with a deadline this close, so enlighten me. These people include windkirby, Oman and Food.

Anyway, a lot of people are vs charter that never were...must reviw.

Bah, no one else was voting so for some weird reason I had gotten it into my head that we were going to talk about it first before voting, which, of course, doesn't really make sense.
