- if not CL block Claus

plan.

D4, cult = 3, townies = 3, mafia = 1.

We lynch one cultie, Armlx. CL still at large.
N4, cult = 2, townies = 3, mafia = 1.

I roleblock Claus, CL. Xtomx kills a townie.
D5, cult = 2, townies = 2, mafia = 1.

We lynch the CL, Claus. SL becomes SK.
N5, cult = 1, townies = 2, mafia = 1.

Xtomx kills a townie. SL kills Xtomx.
D6 cult = 1, townies = 1.

Cult wins.

I've got an idea.

Perhaps armlx

is

the CL.

But he's lying when he says his recruits revert to town if he dies. I've never heard of that, and i've been in a few cult games. I think he's trying to protect one or more recruits. And perhaps his power passes on to his first recruited.

Good thinking. More gambit. I doubt there's hand-me-down recruiting, but maybe a headless-cult-becomes-mafia rule. That's much more common.

Come N4, they'd just blame a cult kill on you, Xtomx. That's why Claus pushed me to make a very specific roleblock choice.

N4, cult = 2, townies = 3, mafia = 1.

I roleblock Xtomx. Cult kills.

D5, cult = 2, townies = 2, mafia = 1.

We think we've got it all wrapped up. We lynch Xtomx. Cult wins.

Mokina, have you even heard what I said? How can I be the SL AND have two recruits if you roleblocked me on N2 and I targetted Alabaska on N1?

Xtomx has now flipflopped again to Armlx being the CL. You're trying hard to find a way to the endgame, aren't you?

Gorkcat can attest that SL was visited by Armlx last night.

In elemental mafia (Where I was a CL), my cult had the choice between recruiting and killing, but recruiting was only available while I was alive.

How to prove Claus is not a cult Recruit in 3 easy and simple steps:

Step 1:

On Night one, Armlx targetted DP.

Evidence:

Armlx found out, on D2, that DP was mafia.

Thus, Claus could not have been culted N1

Step 2:

On Night two, SL targetted Claus. And found him clear.

Evidence:

(Day 3) http://mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 24#1068824 - says she targetted Claus.
(Day 3) http://mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 69#1069669 - says she can detect cultees.

Thus, Claus could not have been culted N2

Step 3:

On Night three, Gorckat saw Armlx target SL. Claus claims to target Armlx.

Evidence:

Since we know from step 2 that Claus is not a cult, armlx was blocked. Also, Armlx did not target Claus N3.

Thus, since Claus could not have been culted on N1, could not have been culted on N2, and cult not have been culted on N3, Claus is not a cult recruit.

Now can we lynch Armlx already?

We have two roleblocks and a oneshot vig. We have to block Xtoxm. Alabaska and SL might be recruits with guns.

What do we do?

Claus, you could have been recruited N2, as generally cop investigations occur before recruitment.

Right, missed the lynch again. But yeah, armlx is most probably the CL anyway, Claus is right with him being vague with his role and investigation flavor since the first day of his claim. Also, my investigation result PM doesn't actually use the word 'clear', armlx using it is probably scummimetic .

The only big alternative scenario I was thinking of was Alabaska being CL with SK cop as a safeclaim; it could be that he was aware of the SK as flavor, and he's been awfully quiet since the Dimitri cardflip with no one bothering to check on his night action after N1. So yeah, Mokina please block Alabaska if armlx is not Jedah.
