1) I don't know anymore
2) I have no clue what scum would claim, honestly
3) Um uh, I don't know, 40ish? with 100 being obvscum.

Ok basically here's where I'm at right now.

I don't especially want to lynch Near. I do believe he was scummy earlier today, but he's been a lot better lately, and as other players have commented, it doesn't entirely feel right.

I'm not sold on DBE either. As I said, she's been acting equally scummy but less newbie lately. She did sorta half-claim power, but there are good reasons for scum to do that there also. Her semi-claim is also pretty testable tomorrow, I think.

Coron I legitimately think was scummy for a chunk of the game, and replaced a minorly scummy player. However, he has claimed tracker. Yes the claim was bad, but that doesn't make it scummy. I read over it again and it actually made marginally more sense to me. I'm also somewhat put off by how hard Guardian is driving it right now.

Basically I feel like I'm staring 3 marginal-at-best lynches in the face right now, but we have to do one of them.

Coron is scum because the timing at which he claimed is something that would only be done by a scummy, scummy, scumbag.

Townies only claim when near deadline or at lynch -1 at threat of them being lynched.

Coron claimed a while before deadline, and because he "felt pressured by my attac" of one vote

town players who do this draw the doc to them, MAYBE, IF THERE IS ONE, and have given the scum more info. there is damn little reason for a townie to do what Coron did.

scum otoh would hope to deflect all attention from them, since "ooh they are a power role". also, draw doc protect is AWESOME for scum, free range to kill whomever. Also they might draw out another investigative role like you said. if a cop for instance claimed, coron could be like "OH, but COP + tracker = legit". ANd wouldnt even be lycnhed maybe, and get a counterclaimd cop.

Town ==> VERY LITTLE to gain from claiming.
Scum ==> SUPER LOTS to gain from claiming.
Premise: Coron is a rational agent
Conclusion: Coron, acting rationally, only would have claimed like he did as scum.

Your reasoning in that bigger post was a lot better. Up til then you'd mostly just been screaming omg lynch bandwagon lynch go kill die kill! Which is not really reassuring when discussing lynching a claimed tracker.

Rereading Coron's claim again also.

I'm willing to stake the game on this:

There is no way coron is town and near is scum. If that comes to pass, lynch me, and then lynch me for real after the game ends.

IF coron is a tracker, IF, UNLIKELY, but IF IF IF, he MAY get useful results. HE very well could get jack shit, or be NK'd tonight, or roleblocked.

Near, the above sentence should convince you to vote him. IF you are town you KNOW u are town, and only GUESS he is. Since even if he is a tracker, his longevity and usefulness is limited, vote HIM.

Mac. For real. Coron needs 2 die.

I re-read Coron's claim, and I don't find it suspicious.
But i do agree with Guardian's post 601. I think townies have little to gain from claiming beside the fact that he will get a protection from a doctor if there is one.
but I don't think scums have a lot to gain from claiming tracker either. especially since if there is a cop, it may contradict coron's claim and make him look scummy. trading a cop for a scum usually isn't beneficial to scum at this stage (at least i understand it)

I am about 60% on Near being Non-Scummy and 40% on him Being scummy, I find Coron to be incredibly scummy myself, Therefore I find peace in unvoting Near.

No, don't full claim until Day 2 starts, assuming you live that long. Your weird claim timing is weird enough that you'll pretty much have to I think, but actually saying your ability at the moment can only advantage the scum.

Looking at votes, I just realized DBE was previously voting Near. So Near, DBE, and Coron are all at 3.

I am less than entirely pleased with the revelation that a Near lynch is now basically impossible, even though I don't think it's what I wanted.

Guardian, my question was, why did you find DBE and Mac suspicious after Coron has claimed tracker? Did you at the time not think Coron was an obvious scum? WHy are you pushing for him right now? Before he and others can respond?

I am willing to bandwagon either Near or Coron although I suspect them to be scumbuddies, I am just slightly more on the side or Coron being scum.

We need to decide this.
