1. If you wanted genuine results, you shouldn't have made it official.
2. There's literally no reason to treat somebody as obvtown at this point, you can still "bounce your ideas" off people.
3. Focusing on communication with a single person isolates the others and makes buddying look ok.

I really fail to see any benefits of this. This could only work if you had a PT with someone.

Creating a townbloc is fine but involving a random person seems like a wrong approach.

Well its similar to something i do when i play RT-Mafia with friends. I generally look for someone i know talks a lot and discuss ideas and speculations with that person while others can listen to it and argue if they disagree on something or agree with me/us. Its basically a way to keep the game going when you play with people that like to listen more then arguing.

Yeah but the game hasn't even started rolling yet. I could see that strat used when people run out of ideas/motivation and the game goes silent but it doesn't seem like a valid opening.

It's a closed setup. Doesn't matter atm. You take the scummiest person, lynch him/her and repeat until you've won. Trying to establish scumteams isn't relevant until the first scumflip anyway.

I disagree. Establishing scumteams is a great way to POE people into your town block. For example, we will number players 1-11. Everyone starts off as scum in your book. Over the course of the day, numbers 5-11 have all earned town points, and you have moved them into your town block. Numbers 1-4 are still in your scum block as they have not earned any town points. Number 1 has scumtold, and is the scummiest of the block. After reading interactions between 1 and 2, you determine that it couldn't be scum interaction, so 2 is moved to your townblock. Etc.

Pre-flip associations are pointless. It's ok to keep these things in mind but basing everything on assumptions is always a bad idea.

I don't think you're scum (yet). Using the vote power can have various goals. In this case, I wanted to skip rvs bullshit and provoke some meaningful discussion right off the bat. Unfortunately I didn't get the results I wanted.

Snake's quick unvote after being so convinced his target's scum when Gamma didn't even provide much of a defense seems like poor attempt of trying to appear active which I don't like. Could be seen as scum soft pushing scum to distance themselves but it's too early to say. I must commend Snake for his observation though.

Alright, Grendel's reading way too hard into all this but it's better than gerry's bitching about not having enough material for scumreads, whereas he's not amounting to anything.

Regarding the matter of having serious reads early into the game:
This topic is picked up in many games and my opinion is it's good to have scumreads and push them right off the bat. I don't see any reason why anybody would want to discourage that. How valid these scumreads are isn't really an issue cause it'll clear up eventually.

Victor's a townlean.
Gamma's nullish, I'm having trouble reading this player. Huntress's null too ofc.
Not a big fan of snake and CCC, mostly due to their playstyle.
And I'm pretty sure there's scum between gerry, Manuel and Rhazh but they're all pretty lynchbaity.

He's uncompromising, not afraid to form strong observations which are logical at the same time, he doesn't seem to care about his appearance and I agree with his reads.

No, I'm saying their playstyle doesn't help with reading them as town.
Snake's readlists are useless cause- as Square's noticed- they don't lead to any conclusions. It's pure IIoA and I could easily see scum do it to fake being helpful.
CCC's coasting hard, doesn't have a strong opinion on anyone (just like you) and I don't agree with his reads.

Well anyway, that night 2 kill disadvantages me more than anyone else. Grendel has scumread me this entire game. That kill would implicate me beyond belief. Problem is: he scumread me since Day 1. If I was worried about his read, I wouldn't have let him survive one night! So there's no reason for me to kill him now and not Night 1.

I was drunk and I knew I had to post something or I'd get replaced. Popped the site, glanced over Victor's blue-pm stuff and my drunk-self decided he's 100% sure scum and it's a good idea to vote him. I didn't even know how many votes he already had on him.
