1. Above all, this is a game – have fun!
2. Unless it is explicitly stated in your role PM that you can do so, do not communicate with anyone outside this thread. Even then, only communicate when your role PM states you can.
3. Do not quote any communication you have with me or clammy, the moderators of the game. Depending on the circumstance, you may be able to paraphrase things we have sent you (such as a role PM). Use common sense and if you are unsure feel free to ask us via PM.
4. Mod's are only human, and as such, are bound to make mistakes. If you believe one has been made, feel free to send through a PM with what you think is wrong.
5. Be courteous to your fellow player. This is just a game, and any blatant personal attacks on another player will not be tolerated. Remember that everyone just wants to have fun!
6. Deadlines will be set at the discretion of the mod.

8. For your vote to be counted, it must be bold, and in the form
vote: playername
. The colon is optional.
9. Although it is not necessary, it is very much appreciated if you could unvote before changing your vote. Again, unvotes must be bold to count.
10. A lynch will occur at n/2 + 1 votes, rounded down to the nearest integer, where n is the number of players currently alive. Day will end with the lynch.
11. You may vote for a ‘no lynch’ if desired. If a majority of the players in the game vote for a no lynch, the game will progress to night without a lynch. No lynching cannot be done on consecutive nights.
12. At a deadline, rule ten will still be in play. If there is not a majority, then nobody will be lynched and night will begin. Exception: if the previous day ended in a no lynch, at deadline the person with the highest number of votes will be lynched.
13. If a lynch occurs, then the game enters ‘twilight’, where all alive players apart from the player who has been lynched are allowed to freely converse (but not allowed to cast any votes) until the thread is locked and a death scene posted.
14. Dead people don't talk. That means, once you are dead, you don't.

15. Failure to remain active throughout the game will result in your replacement at the discretion of the mod. Try to post at least once every 72 hours.

Once upon a time there was a town.
It was a very small town, a quiet town, a peaceful and placid town.
..Once upon a time that is.
Of course, like any good story (and it seems all that open with "Once upon a time..."), this quiet town has been disturbed and now peace must take a back seat to feud for a time.
Nasty characters are at work here, last month Piere, the town's loud Dutch butcher, was bludgeoned to death with a heavy mechanic's spanner, everyone's been feeling hungry since the gruesome strangling of Flavio, your Italian Baker, and now no-one knows who to trust since Johny the candle-stick maker was sticked upon his own workmanship (the English have always enjoyed a little irony).
So here you are, one of the twelve elected by your town to examine and find the perpetrators and do away with them before they cripple the town so that placidity and quiet may once again be seen in your town.

It's been a long day in the town, as the late afternoon rays pour down you reflect on what has happened.
A ballot conducted, decided amongst you one is to be hung for trecherous and tedious statements, afatchic is calmly and hurredly lead to the gallows to meet his fate.
The trap door sill swinging, you race to the house of afatchic, eager to find out his alignment hoping to validate you suspicions. In his Kitchen, lodged behind the stove you find an old piece of lead plumbing, which appears to be a part of the house from a previous era, however, upon closer inspection the heavy pipe has traces of blood and hair hanging off of it, and nearby you find notes to a "Col. Mustard" with plots and lists of names attached. None of the codenames signed off on the notes match known names for your peers, which disappoints you, seems you'll have to come back tomorrow to continue the search for "Col. Mustard's" friends.

Morning breaks, a red dawn over the quiet town with a deep sense of foreboding in the air.
You assemble, eager to hear more from those among you who yesterday claimed knowledge or abilty.
First on the day's agenda is to hear from Light-kun, who claimed to be the policeman on the prowl for those nasty characters out there.
...But he hasn't shown up this morning, this is unlike him.
You knock on the door of his modest townhouse, his wife answers, and tells you he's peacefully sleeping still.
...This is quite unlike him!
You hear a wail from inside when LK's wife tries to wake him and all rush inside, now worried, to a scene of a pale and ill looking Light-kun, a small spot of blood and fresh trackwork running up his arm. Upon closer inspection you find foam on his lips, his pupils dilated, he appears to have died of some form of drug overdose.
You wonder if anyone else in the town could shed any light on the situation and remember that Kmd4390 said yesterday he had a medical background.
You all spin around to ask and ... he's not among you either!
Running back to the Town Square to gather you thoughts you hear a calamity from up the street, one of your group has discovered Kmd, and the sight is not so pretty.
The red dawn casts an eerie effect over the blood running from the back of the fallen Kmd, he was shot in the night it seems.

And after being unavailable for a couple of days, and PM's being eaten by that "site suspended" page...
From discussions with concerned parties, I don't believe Corvuus was intentionally trying to gain an advantage in this game with his posts in MD, nor that he was specifically referencing this game. As such, I have no intention of modkilling him.
I'd like us to continue on with the game rather than discussion around it. Also, it would be appreciated if we could all try and be civil with one another, even if we violently disagree.
Questions, PM me. Otherwise can we get back on with playing the game rather than going around in circles?

As the sun rises, the town gathers for a hastily-organised funeral to mourn those of you who had died in the previous day, before resuming your deliberations.
You quickly note, however, that someone is missing.
After the ceremony is complete you rush to the house of Electra, fearing the worst.
And it appears your fears were well founded. You find Electra's body still lying in bed, with a single clean bullet-wound to the chest.
Beside the bed, you find Electra's stethoscope and drug bag. It would appear that there was indeed another medical professional in the town.

G'day, thought I'd let you all know that I'm really not paying any attention to this currently as I'm currently caught up in these bushfires. We're safe, no need for concern there, friends have lost houses and we have people in and out all the time, but the situation could be a lot worse.
I'll work on a replacement for OC when I get back into it, but that's probably not going to be until next week, sorry.

Hi all,
I'm a couple weeks off being able to properly mod this game again.
I have been contacted by SensFan offering to replace-mod for me in the meantime. Can I get everyone to PM me letting me know whether or not you would have any objection to this, given that he has previously played in the game?
