HOW TO PLAY

• Vote for a player by writing
  vote: PlayerGuyDudePerson
  . Make sure you bold your vote so I can find it easily. Don't pretend to vote to trip others up.
  
• For that matter, if you are trying to get my attention, please bold your request, e.g.
  Mod! I need to go to the bathroom; can I have a hall pass?
  If it's something serious, though, like you think a player is cheating, or that someone died that shouldn't have,
  please PM me instead of posting in the thread
  .
  
• You can vote not to lynch (via
  vote: No lynch
  ).
  
• To get a player lynched, you need a majority (more than half) of the players to vote for them.
  
• You may remove a vote you have placed by saying
  unvote
  .
  Note that you can't undo a lynch with this by getting it in before I call it; a lynch is a death the moment the last vote falls.
  
  
• When Night begins, I will tell you about how long till the next Day starts. You have until this time to send in your night action, if you have one. You may send in "No action" if you like.
  
• Days last three weeks. If you run out of time, no one will be lynched.
  
• Be sure you know the forum rules and guidelines - they apply here.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

• Votecounts will be edited into the top of each page (assuming the standard 25 posts per page) and into any post requesting one. If there is a lot of voting, I may post some mid-page as well.
  
• The Mafia players can talk to each other before the game starts, although no one will die until the first Night comes around (after the first Day).
  
• The ICs are here to help! They don't bite. If you don't understand something in the game, just ask the IC and (s)he will help you with it.
  
• If you don't post in the thread for a long time, I will assume you have been eaten by grues and find someone else to play your part. If you won't be able to post for a while, say so, so we know where you've gone.
  
• If you are planning on suicide by moderator - which you shouldn't be D: - keep in mind that your death may shift the day to night just as if you were lynched.
