Seem to be back on the good side. I really don't understand Leon's play?
This round was easily in Rust/Lu's hands and Poirot and I knew we were on the block, and he was telling both of us that he was with us 100% and definitely voting for the other person. Neither of us believed it until Rust/Lu confirmed their pick.

Honestly, you and Poirot come to me with anything other than you as an option for me, we don't go back to back. I was surprised you didn't attempt to use me as a shield.

You were the one that closed the door on voting for Leon with your last message of, "We are back on good terms." leaving the only options available to me at the time as Poirot or Rust and I was definitely not voting Rust. And then instead of a response from you, I get a message from Poirot saying, "So Judy tells me you're thinking of voting either me or Rust?" I had no choice. I genuinely wanted to take you to Final 5 because I doubt this would have happened. But your tendency to stop responding during a tribal bit you (and by extension, me) there.

No problem. As I’ve said a lot here, my intention was to completely throw myself on a grenade for you and Rust so you’d have time to regroup and make it further into the merge. I’d say it was successful.

Oh yeah I totally didn't help. But you needed to vote Rust to not go after me. Like you had zero choices. Getting rid of me gets rid of you next. Poirot may have swung but I would have needed to be online to talk that out.
Like you not wanting Rust is what inevitably lost you the game here because Rust is really the only person who had a chance of winning. Like zero of the people in here would have voted for me. Very few would vote Lucifer. Probably Leon doesn't have many. You/Rust/Poirot were the only winner options at final 6.
But like when I woke up to nothing with 50 minutes left I went eh fuck it I'll go back to sleep for half an hour, whatever.

Interestingly I was in trouble with Lucifer and Leon until you posted that, and that helped me get both of them on side again so you ended up hurting Poirot and Jake but helping me.

I can understand that, but considering you were quite literally giving me nothing and spreading my messages around to others, I didn't have an avenue where I could trust you enough with voting out Rust there. I wish we were able to talk more and come to a better conclusion, but it didn't happen. I banked on winning the challenge and the stupid candlesticks kept me away from that :P

I mean, my intention was never to hurt you. I only called you out in public and then changed it to attract attention to myself and make sure people would stay on me. You were in the middle of my list because I couldn’t find anything bad to say about you. I was... sort of neutral, which was more than I could say for Lennie, Jake, Hercule, and Lucifer.

Also mods, can we compete in the challenge? I took a lot of notes throughout the game for this exact challenge and I want to see if it was worth it. If I at least know that I would have gotten immunity, I'd feel a lot better about them turning on me here :P

Grouch <3333 Your vote shook me so much. I had thought I was going for some reason, and to open up the votes and find out that they flipped on you hurt so much :/ If anything, you solidified what ended up becoming Lucifer/Rust/Myself for the next few rounds even before it ended up happening. Also, I screen shotted this and put it in my confessional I believe labeled "Sweet Revenge :) "

Omg, that is nuts. Confessionals should be interesting for you Penny. You were the reason why Poirot pushed so hard for Grouch to go home.
The only reason the vote was on Grouch and not Jake or Rust was because Poirot believed you wanted Grouch gone for idk why and so the vote would have less fallout.

That might have just been Poirot distancing a bit from Grouch/Myself? I don't understand where he would get that impression at all. I can't wait to scour through everyone's confessional... I posted quite a bit in mine :S

Poirot pushed it, like Grouch was Poirot's idea and his main play of the game. I was so close to just shafting the alliance entirely and voting Jake because I really didn't want to remove Grouch. But I wasn't online while Jake set up group chats and pushed everything. And ultimately that was what caused the rift between Leon and Lennie.
I cannot stress enough, Jake and Poirot ran that vote. Me and Leon didn't have input at all. I still have no idea what Lennie did at any point in the game, sorry Lennie.

Aww thanks Penelope. I never saw my vote coming either, there were so many other reasons for some of the other names that if it wasn't Jake I couldn't see it coming my way at all. I did appreciate the revenge tour there, that did make me smile and I was just happy it wasn't you immediately following me. You were supposed to be at the end though, mi amor.
I am far from surprised that I was Poirot's move though. I made the mistake of being honest enough to mention that there was a world in which he and I didn't end up staying in the game together, and whelp, yeah that world happened much faster it would seem.
It's actually okay though, I've been doing a lot of other stuff since that I'd have had less time to focus on the game anyways, so it really was a gift nobody knew they were giving me.

Isn't that always what we say though? I wanted to go home to be less busy, but we all know that we'd have loved to be less busy with a win in our pocket :P
Also, that was 100% his reasoning, at least that's what he told me. Essentially you weren't prostrating yourself for him, so you were as good as gone.
In my eyes Lennie played a great float the middle game. He was in everyone's pockets for pretty much the entire time I went to a tribal :P Which was why I was never able to get closer to him. I genuinely thought he'd win if we didn't get him out after Jake.

Mm, it was a lot more of, if he's going to keep fighting any actual vote discussion we have here, I don't really want to be sitting near the guy who didn't want to let me play the game I was trying to play for myself, and rather wanted me to just follow what he thought was best. That's really what it boiled down to, it was becoming such a pain in the ass to discuss votes with him at all, when I had other options I could totally take.

We probably would have voted someone like Lennie or Poirot imo. Though, if it went to a tie, I'm not sure what would have happened. I still think Pika would have gone home but I would have burned that bridge a lot earlier.

I mean, considering Nick was in the same position and got burned for it, that tribal could have gone either way. Why was Nick chosen and not me?

From my perception, Jake was the one who put the target onto you, not Nick, because he felt better about me and Poirot. We didn't tell you that because we knew you already kinda wanted to gun for Jake and didn't want to stoke that. From what Poirot told me, Nick actually would have preferred to target me but settled on you as the target for the former BAU because Jake was pushing it and Nick didn't want to rock the boat (especially since I was probably the option Jake would have least been on board with voting for).
edit: this was all irrelevant because we had the tiger idol, but still
Lucifer was really the one who tipped that vote because he realized that he was the supposedly-fake-plan to us in part because the former BAU didn't actually care that much about him. Jake can correct me if I'm wrong here but I think Jake got on board more because of Lucifer flipping than because of either of us were particularly convincing; I think Jake never really wanted to be the swing vote there because it would seem like a betrayal to the former BAU on the other side.

More or less true; I was galvanized more by the prospect of a strong alliance going into the merge than by anything to do with Lucifer, though. Judy’s case was compelling.

I just watched it and it does not help me nail down his genre at ALL!! Is he an art history educator, a motivational speaker? I love his voice and the calming music so much and the focus on the cleaning!! BEAUTIFUL.
mandatory watching for everyone on the jury, i think this video teaches us a lot about playing survivor and being a jury. Wash away the grime and resin to get to the true color of the game play ;) or something more philosophical idk
