How are you feeling about coming into the game late? Do you worry that being a replacement could make you an easy target? What are you first impressions of your new tribe?

A replacement could become an easy target, no doubt about it.  But I think given a day to make inroads I'll find a place here.

No one here stands out as a super dangerous or strong player yet.  To be expected given the casting paradigm of this game.  O-Ren is either a very good fibber or seriously has no knowledge of the Survivor format at all, and she would seem to be next on the chopping block.  But I am intrigued by her and would like to get her out of the hot seat and onto my side for the long game, if she can wrap her head around the fact that tribes don't last forever and she shouldn't be willing to let herself be voted out for failing to perform in challenges.

Do you have any awareness of what your predecessor was doing? Do you plan to capitalize or mitigate any of it, or are you playing this as if you just timetraveled to this point with a clean slate?

No one has told me much about what my predecessor was up to, and at any rate if I were them I wouldn't trust me to pick up where he left off.  I think I have to consider this a clean slate.

I stand corrected, evidently my predecessor the Don was into something with Capone, Meyer Lansky and Paulie Walnuts and I may be able to pick that thread up and continue it if I want.

Now, the only question is do I want that?

At least three people on this tribe let the moderators choose characters for them.  What the heck people choosing a good character is like three quarters of the fun.

Unofficially official alliance between me, Al Capone, Meyer Lansky and Paulie Walnuts.

Al and Meyer are described as our biggest challenge assets which is a threat come merge time.

I like Robster.  O-Ren is rough gem in need of polishing but I think she has a lot of potential.  Viola hasn't given me anything worth working with yet.  But I feel like at this stage I shouldn't upset the apple cart when I'm slotted into a majority alliance.

Even though I like two of the outsiders I think it's best for me to play along and let Al be the shot caller.
