In this game, there are 6 rounds. In each round, you will be presented with 9 cards arranged in a 3x3 grid.
Each card has 3 features: shape, shape color and background color.
LIVE VERSION -- SOME DETAILS MAY CHANGE IF SCHEDULING IS TOO HARDPlayers take turns identifying sets of three cards in which the three features are each either all the same or all different. Some examples of this will be provided.
On their turn, if they see a set, the player says "Hap!", and identifies the three cards. If the set is valid, the player scores a point.
If the set is invalid, or has already been called, the player loses a point.
If 10 seconds pass without a "Hap!" call, play passes to the other player.
Once "Hap" has been called, you'll have the rest of your turn plus 5 extra seconds to post the set.
The 10 second timer will begin when it is announced it is a player's turn by a moderator stating the name of the player.
Results of Hap! calls will always be resolved before the next player's turn will begin.
You will announce a set by referring to the cards like so:
1-2-3
4-5-6
7-8-9
So for example, if 1, 2 and 7 formed a valid set that has not yet been found, you could post "Hap" and then post 127.
If a player believes all of the sets have been identified, they may call "Gyul!" If they are correct and there are no further sets, that player scores 2 points and the round ends. If the call is incorrect, the person who called Gyul loses one point and their turn.
If a tiebreaker is needed, we will play a lightning round where the first to find a valid set or correctly call Gyul wins.
Highest score wins and moves on to the finale.
