I'm going to have trouble not making the flavor California-centric!
The European Chestnut tree reminds me a lot of the California Buckeye, but I think the Buckeye is very well situated to handle a warmer, drier climate, while the European Chestnut is being squeezed by highly adaptive non-native trees.
Amid the pressure of great events, a general principle gives no help.
Nothing wrong with California centric! I'm from Chicago, and I'm learning a lot of things I find neat. I love the idea of planting native grasses and flowers (but I don't have a lawn lol)
I don't know how delta can think that was really a slip, I really don't. Like, he genuinely thinks Patch...asked his fellow scum to come talk to him in the scum PT? I almost want to say it's scummy to be jumping this but it also seems very delta lol.

I have a yard with a fair bit of lawn that I want to make more drought tolerant and better adapted to serve native birds and other critters. So, big project coming up this year!

So far, I think Delta and Overseer are town. This reminds me a lot actually of the time I briefly played with Delta, where two players with aggressive styles are crashing into each other like two big stags in a fight.
I'm also leaning towards OMI as town- his play style is so strangely sincere. ('I propose we form a team...'), I wonder if I need to try and dig up an OMI scum game before I say that though.
I found spartans play NAI. I think I need to wait to see with Mala here.
What to think about Black? I've read quite a few of her games here now but never gotten the chance to play with her. I was only confident of her alignment once, when she was town- there was just something about it that screamed frustration that others weren't getting the right solution. She's still super smooth here, but then she hasn't been put into a situation where that feeling would come out. If I had to pick rn- ugh. Scummmm?

This game does have some clashy personalities going on. It's not to the point where I should ask for people to tone it down a little, but it's close.
Yeah, I could see it getting there but at least as a spectator I haven't seen anything that's a personal attack so far. I have seen worse from people than what overseer said that set Spartan off if I'm honest lol
Woof! What a bummer- I feel lucky my first game stopped getting so heated after that first clash. Hopefully things will cool down now what with your mod warning and a popular player leaving. Sorry I can't help with replacing in!
Just wanted to apologize again for how this played out. I found myself getting upset and annoyed with things that I normally would just brush off. I think I overloaded myself with games/Team Mafia and it has been taking it's toll on my mental health. I need to work on controlling my emotions better in times of stress like this
Thanks again for your understanding and allowing me to still hang out here. I plan on apologizing to the players in post game as well
Hi Black! I don't think you need to apologize for anything. You were in a position where something had to change and you made a change, that's all! Mental health is more important that finishing a game, that's all there is to it.
Soooo....any chance you're allowed to tell me what alignment your slot is?
