Amnesiac Movie: The Private Trailer
This is the private trailer for the cast members who play Romeo and Juliet. You may talk here at any time, so long as you possess either the Romeo or Juliet role. This PT will be used for all future holders of Romeo and Juliet. You will not be informed which players hold the Romeo and Juliet roles, as those roles may randomly be distributed to dead players or players on the Mafia team.Last edited by T-Bone on Mon Jun 05, 2023 9:39 am, edited 7 times in total.-

Because only townies can properly receive the roles assigned to them, every person you see talking here is guaranteed to be town!
So... If you had been scumreading me for a while, sorry...Let he who is with sin, and loves it, cast the final stone.-

Kuribo's read is foolproof: one night he was high on NyQuil, and he's ancestors reveiled Aureal's alignment to him. - Dessew-

I mentioned in thread that I feel like Fey towntold pretty hard, so this is the tell:
In Posts 97, and then 146, Fey seems to have forgotten that mafia is told which roles they are assigned to, even though they don't get to use that role. This was her justification for requesting massclaim in 97. She realizes in 146 that this doesn't work because mafia *is* told what role they're assigned to and she corrects herself.
I feel (and Malakittens agrees) that this is a pretty tough towntell to fake. It wouldn't be intuitive whatsoever to pretend not to remember that. It would invite too much scrutiny about being it being a fake towntell. That, by the way, is the reason I don't feel the need to expand in-thread on why I feel like it's a town tell. I really don't feel like screaming at people for fifteen pages about fake towntells vs. real ones.
In another note, I really need you to make sure you stay alive throughout Day 1 so that we can both move on from this thread and start a lovers cascade. With any luck, our roles will live on at least until day 3, if not 4, and thus confirm a handful of people as town to one another.
If either of us gets forced into a claim, I think there's significant equity in hiding the fact that we're lovers and simply claiming neighbors or masons instead. Neighbors in this game are essentially masons to one another, since scum doesn't get the role anyway. We could still confirm one another as town to the town without disclosing the fact that we die together. Although I suppose that still doesn't protect us if we're confirmed town going into N1. So I dunno, if push came to shove maybe claim lover but then the other doesn't confirm? idk I only slept for like an hour and I don't feel good. lol i'm ramblingJoin me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

Honestly, we aren't really acting as a team right now. They have even less understanding of this game than I do.
I'm also at fault, of course. I haven't paid much attention to the other games either.Let he who is with sin, and loves it, cast the final stone.-

It's just not worth fighting her about it on day 1 and nobody is likely to go along with it.
It's not like, the strongest scumread, but my gut just tells me something's off with her. Which is the other reason it's not worth pursuing her.Join me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

hey there. So if you read the previous posts, you'll see that you and I are confirmed town to one another. Scum in this setup get the role PMs, but they DON'T get the roles. Therefore, scum cannot possibly set foot in this thread as they just get a fake version of the role. At least that's how BlueSnakelet explained it above and it's my understanding as well.In post 15, Ircher wrote: Hi kuribo!
Whoever (if anyone) gets these roles on Day 2 gets access to this PT instead of us. So, as you can see, Snakelet and I set up a system for whoever ends up after us, so that they can acknowledge us as well as signal us. If we play our cards right, we can set up a confirmed-town cascade that could last into Day 3 and give town a huge boost.
Of course the catch is that BlueSnakelet is being widely scumread but hardly pushed. Which, like, that right there should set off some red flags that he was low hanging fruit. I have already decided that if push comes to shove and your slot gets run up to E-1, I will be claiming to be your mason. There's no need to claim the lover aspect, because if we do then we die for sure N1 and the role dies with us.
I mean, a mason claim also gets us killed, so I'd rather avoid it altogether if possible lolJoin me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

honestly I think it's mostly low activity and a player list with a high volume outputIn post 17, Ircher wrote: Yeah that makes sense. Why was Snake being scum read?
I don't really remember anything sticking out as especially scummy, he was just one of those names that people list at the bottom of their reads and then don't do anything about
Like, keeping the option open of elimming a lurker? idkJoin me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

Might be worth looking back at people who listed him at the bottom and then didn't vote him
nobody wants to be seen screaming for the elimination of a "lurker," but by definition they have to keep the option open so it might shed some light on the scumteamJoin me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

Hi ya'll, as this caused confusion and out of game influence as well as an attempt to violate the rule of proving private communication, I am going to disallow all sorts of codes and cryptography in response to #2925 posted in the game thread. I am also going to redact posts #3, #5, #6 in this PT. Please do not try to recreate them, or mention that I had done so outside this PT.Last edited by T-Bone on Mon Jun 05, 2023 9:39 am, edited 1 time in total.-
