Rules

[001]
Voting
: Only votes in bold (
vote: Johoohno
) will be counted. I appreciate when you
unvote
, however it is not required.
[002]
Lynches
: When a player has a majority of votes (before the deadline) he’ll be lynched – consider the game to be in twilight
(twilight = no new votes/unvotes are counted, the lynch is inevitable)
until I lock the thread.
[003]
Deadline
: Each day will be deadlined to  approximately 96 hours, depending on my real life issues (no extensions planned). Consider the game to be in twilight if I’m late for a deadline locking of the thread. At deadline the player with most votes is lynched –
even if it isn’t a majority
(if two or more players are tied I’ll let the dice decide who’s going to get lynched)
[004]
Keep game in thread only
: The game is played within this thread. You are not allowed to discuss it outside unless your role specifically tells you otherwise.
[005]
Death
: Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing.
[006]
Editing/Deleting
: Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts.
[007]
Quoting
: Don’t quote any PMs from me.
[008]
Night choices
: If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the lynching vote is cast or the posted deadline (whichever comes first). Observe that there is
 no separate night phase. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me no choice will be made. Night is only the time it takes me to resolve night choices, write lynch scenes and describe what happens. (You can send in as many night choices as you want, I will only acknowledge the last one sent before a lynch.)
[009]
Being away?
: If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Not posting is a bad behaviour in a swift game. If you are away for 48 hours, without any notice why, you might find yourself replaced. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
[010]
Colours and texts
:
Blue colour
is my colour, don’t use it in the thread. And don’t use small or invisible text either.
[011]
Prods and replacements
: I will prod players and ask for replacements by your requests (or when I see fit). Do bold your requests in thread to make me see them more easily. (If you find errors or have questions I prefer getting them by PM). Replacements inherit their predecessors votes and need to unvote if they don't like where their vote is.
[012]
Good game
: Remember, it’s a game. It’s supposed to be played. It’s supposed to be fun. Do your part.

Werewolf PM wrote:
Your role: Werewolf (a.k.a. townie)

Not long after your pack had taken control over the village Wolventon these damn humans sent in some kind of undercover strike team to kill you all. Your only measure to get rid of them is to vote whom to lynch each day. It is a grim situation, but you are well aware of that being the only way for the village to stay in werewolf control.

You win when all the threats against the werewolf pack has been eliminated.

Let the game begin

Only a few weeks ago (Swift speed: Werewolf I) the werewolves easily took control over the puny village Wolventon. Each day, since then, they were playing out the silly life of common people in the village and at night they all went up to their own hill to howl at the moon.

However, one morning one wolf of the pack didn’t come down his hill. When the werewolves went up there they found him pierced by a silver arrow. Immediately they realized that their lives were at stake. Some revenge lusting or retaliation driven humans from a neighbouring hamlet must have infiltrated their ranks.

They decided to each day choose a person to lynch. Hopefully they would kill the humans and by that be rid of the problem once and for all (don’t ask me why they chose the same flawed way as the, by now dead, villagers before them did). They all gathered on the town square to decide whom to lynch today. And they were in quite a hurry, in but a few hours (approximately 96) night would come and during the dark hours they each felt the urge to howl at the moon from their own hill.

Let the discussion and deciding/voting begin.

Deadline: Monday 9 June 1:00 PM
Approximately
(GMT -5 hours according to the forum clock)

13 players alive = 7 votes to lynch before deadline
(when the one with the most votes, no matter how few, is lynched)

Those with
night choices: remember to send them in time
(see rule #008).

With such a short daycycle, I don't think random voting is necessary in this game.

as for the Mellowman vote, It was a joke because the joking votes ARE necessary. At least to me. Its part of the overall appeal of mafia games everywhere. But voting against tghe joke phase, sir, you vote against the very principals that our mafiascum.net stands for. And I for one shall not sit by as you desecrate our mafiascum institution, and by proxy, the very freedoms that this country was founded upon!!! For the betterment of all americans and mafiasum.net players everywhere....

With a careful analysis of the people currently in the game the following conclusions can be made:

zyzzy is a dog which is close to a werewolf
farside is a monkey
Mr.Flay IS a human - just look

BUT, EVEN WORSE

Grimmy is TWO HUMANS

AND EVEN WORSE

OhGod is TWO HUMANS AND A HORSE

Only one thing to do

Vote OhGodMyLife

That is where you're wrong. Random votes are at best a way to get a feel for the temperament of the players - but there are other ways to spur on discussion, like asking questions, or actual voting with intent.

No, my scumchat policy lynches consist of killing me as quickly as possible.

This consists of "I really don't want you alive because any crap logic you spew will be believed, and while I've only played one game with you, in which you were scum, I have a fairly good belief that this is a risk in this game."

Also, scumchat is a horrible meta for forum games.

I'd like to remind you, SpyreX, that in this game, werewolves are the good guys, and if you pretend to be/are a human, you will be lynched. You implying the opposite is indicative to me that you're a human and believe your side to be the pro-town one.

Huh? Where do you see Spyrex claiming to be a human? Anyway, anyone who is dumb enough to do that hasn't read the game thread and/or their role PM.

xyzzy has as much as admitted that he wants me lynched for reasons that have nothing to do with the town. DIA

Flay, I seriously doubt this wagon will result in a lynch (though obviously with only 96 hours we need to be careful...), I wholly support wagoning early day one as much as possible.

L? Lake? Lumber mill? Leuitenant's office? Louvre? Llama farm?

I think SpyreX probably just made a slip of the tongue.

But normally werewolves aren't town - it was probably jsut a mistake. If a game were made where the mafia were the uninformed majority, would you believe people who attack others as being scum are the informed minority simply because the flavor demands it?
