I don't know if you'll ever read this but I feel like I need to say 2 things.

Just because the conflict is somewhere you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist, here is a quote from me earlier today:

ive always found relationships encompassed mostly through text on a screen to be incredibly fickle. sometimes i wonder if unconsciously we even register to each other as actual human beings. new names make new posts and we associate a little 100x100 picture with their writing style, but there's something distinctly inhuman about it. all that is to say, i dont think it's entirely a reflection on you that people didn't reach out. i think it's a 21st-century condition.

we never talked much. but when i returned to the site a few weeks back yours was one of the names i tracked down to see if you were still around or had disappeared into the great abyss of cyberspace. was sorry to see you were apparently gone.

Hi. It's good to hear from you, even if it's through this indirect method and even if you don't plan on ever coming back. For what it is worth, your presence is missed. I noticed that you had unfriended me on Facebook, but I had assumed that you wanted space from mafiascum.net. Perhaps that was not an incorrect assumption, but at the same time it's understandable that the silence from us hurts.

Having read to the end, all I have left to offer are words, and they are likely empty words now given your conclusion: I wish you peace. You have not explicitly stated that you want to be contacted, so I will assume that you have not given that consent; however, speaking only for myself even though others on this website may likely agree, I do not know you well, but I do know you from our exchanges here. That relationship mattered to me and still matters. If you want to resume that, then I am happy to get to know you more than from whatever superficial interactions we have had on this site and in Kingston.

In any case, best of luck to you in your endeavors, whatever they may be. Maybe our paths will cross again.
