I agree with Adel and Claus. I started up here mainly to Mod, and tried out playing to get a better undestanding of the game. I guess I'm most interested in slightly changing fundamental mechanics and seeing how people react/cope with said changes. Have to say I'm enjoying playing more than I expected. Still sitting in the Open Queue however.

I would quite like to try modding but haven't joined a mod queue because the requirements seem to be quite...convoluted

I'm also thinking of modding a game elsewhere first

I too have modded elsewhere, and would be interested in modding here, mostly for setup creation (the more unique the better) and storyline ;) I am a creator at heart. (Not to say that I
have
a heart... it's merely a figure of speech. :p) Originally I came to this site to mod my creations with some
experienced
players XD

I would hope they're not that convoluted: With six months experience, eldarad, you can join either the Open Queue or Mini Normal Queue. After you finish a game there successfully, you are also eligible for the Mini Theme or Large Normal Queues. After two completed games, you're eligible to run Large Themes or Newbie Games.

That's about it, unless you screw up badly. :)
Retired as of October 2014.

Flay, isn't it 3 months?
Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.

It is, but eldarad has almost double that at this point... I was trying to be specific to his confusion, rather than general, since we already have that listed elsewhere. I may not have succeeded...

Not trying to be comical -- I have before, and I'm ambivalent about doing it agian.

I have some really interesting, yet subtle, ideas, but often moding can be a huge chore, and players (as I myself have surely been as a player) are often disappointing, making what could have been really interesting interactions/a close game a lopsided boring one.
Do not lynch me.

I've modded and want to keep modding... but I tend to do a... well.... bad job :(.

I think it's pretty clear that TSS's awesomeness did alter the roles each of us recieved, and thus he's obviously pro-town. -- Save The Dragons
