This is mainly me collecting data; I feel like it would be useful to see what percentage of players are also interested in modding a game of mafia and if previous experience modding a game affects the answer. (Technically the queues should give a rough feel for this, but some people are scared off by queue length, or don't have the requisite time on mafiascum to join the queues.)

The lack of a comical option is deliberate. Polls are serious matters.

I haven't modded before, and I want to try modding.

I modded games on other sites though, but not yet here. I must admit that I like creating setups more than actually modding them, but I want to see how they're being played.

Getting back to the point, I have modded, am modding, and will mod again, but I wasn't interested in modding until I'd already been playing for a few years, and I've played and am playing in way more games then I am ever likely to mod, if that helps answer your initial question Mathcam.

I havent yet modded and I'm not all that interested in modding. Might change my mind down the road and would probably be willing to be pressed into service if a shortage existed but for now I'm happy just playing.

Actually yes, I would like to mod and haven't moderated on here before. Once I reach my third month (which is one month away!) I plan on joining the Open Game queue.

I'd like to mod, but it would be purely what people made out of my setup that would interest me.

I can't wait for the above to actually be said. It would be fun.

To be honest, I don't really have the time, patience and concentration to be able to mod right now as well as play a couple of games. So I havn't joined the mod queue yet, nor do I expect to, at least for about 6 months of getting back used to the game and getting used to everyone again. (And also when my laptop doesn't threaten to explode constantly.)

But yeah, one day, modding would be cool. (Although when my mandatory ones are over I'd just stick to newbie and closed theme games.)

First off, I would love to mod, but I haven't hit 3 months yet. I enjoy knowing what the setup is and seeing what people do with them. Also, knowing who is what and seeing their actions is interesting to me. I mean, after my forced mini normal/open is finished, I'd love to mod some theme games and/or newbie games, but since I can't yet, I just get to look forward to it.

Heh. Well I probably owe whoever participated in/modded it an apology for the "worst game ideas in my head" comment. Although I didn't actually mean the ideas were bad, just crazy and highly likely to go wrong or end up weird. But I meant it in a good way.

If it's been done then I get the added bonus of reading it, which should be fun.
