Ok, people, this is mafia discussion. I would greatly appreciate it if some posters did not waste my time with quote chains and the like. I'm trying to read a thread that actually has some interesting posts in it. Thank you.
I have not yet modded before, and I would like to try modding. I'm planning on joining the mini normal queue as soon as I've finished my setup. I don't want to join the queue before I've finished the setup though (and I'm not sure I would be allowed to), because I know myself, and am affraid I won't have my setup finished when it's my turn to mod. So basically, I'm working on a setup with no great urgency, and might join the mini normal queue in the next year or two.

*sigh* Some people can't follow simple instructions....
I have modded before and would do it/am doing so again. However I am disheartened by the rate of play and the astonishing need for replacements/modkills of late, and would be reluctant to put a lot of time into a setup that may die a slow painful death.
I now see why some mods don't want to run Large Games...

This is why mods should be allowed to refuse players that signed up/This is why flakers should be punished.

I said "not interested"; I do want to mod again, but not now, nor in what I'm treating as the forseeable future. I'd be hella surprised if I never mod again, though.
I perfer modding to playing. I usually mod theme games on the site I came from and am only playing here for a change of pace and to play with new people. I do believe that the current game I am in will be the last one I play though. Playing in games just doesn't have the appeal to me as designing and running games do.

Small site with Odd Mafia variants.

"Oh, damn. That mass claim just screwed us all."
"So there are two seperate towns both trying to lynch each other?"
"Bastard mod."
I can't wait for the above to actually be said. It would be fun.
At least two of the above quotes apply to games currently in my setups-to-be-run folder.
I've modded before, I'm modding currently, and I want to/will mod again. I love seeing my little underlings trying to figure out what's going on, plus I like creative writing, and modding allows me to do a lot of creative writing. And boy, I can't wait for my players to start claiming. It gives me such an emotional high equal to listening to Weird Al, eating Spam, playing in Magic Tournaments, and finally finishing college applications!

I have modded on another site, and am waiting for my turn to mod here. Like Adel, I enjoy watching other people play in my sandboxes. Also, I like creating lynchcenes from player's day actions.
i have modded before (under LyingBrian), and will most probably mod again in the future... right now, i'm trying to hit 100 in-game posts, but Thespival Mafia should get me there...
I came back only to mod mainly because there was no queue in mini theme. I have modded here before, but will not mod again. I thought about it, but I am pretty tired of this site and don't want to mod again. The replacement and prodding issues also quash my desire to mod here. I think I'd much rather leave.
I really like modding; in fact, I often prefer it to playing. You get to make a lot of interesting setups and see how people respond. It's really fun seeing how things work out, and you're in on everything so you get to laugh about it. The only hard part is, you have to make sure to check and double-check and triple-check everything so that you don't screw it all up. Especially the way I like making them, which is where the rules are crazy and confusing and there's a ton of stuff going on.

Amen to that.
EDIT: Hey, anyone wanna try helping me with one of those insane, complicated setups?
