  • [*] Although not as awesome as <insert something really awesome here>, I am pretty awesome, and as such, my word is LAW. However, I make mistakes too. You can PM me or bold corrections in thread. I will try to read everything, but I will never miss bolded stuff.

    Activity:

    [*] This is a Micro. If you don't participate, it hurts everyone. Be an active participant in this game. Players who have not posted for 2 days [48 hours] will be prodded.
    [*] After a prod is sent, players have 1 day [24 hours] to respond IN-THREAD in some *actual* way - not just a prod-dodge - or they will be replaced. The 'not just a prod-dodge' is obviously my decision.
    [*] On a third prod I might force-replace you, that will depend on me and me alone, in consideration with the game's state and activity.
    [*] Anything directed at me should be bolded, even larged or huged if you want.
    [*] You may also PM me at any time; I will try to answer via phone or computer ASAP.
    [*] After a night, prods will be issued 36 hours from day start.

    Days:

    [*] Days will last a maximum of two weeks [336 hours]. If a lynch is reached before that time, the day will end as soon as I lock the thread.
    [*] Everyone, including lynchees, may continue posting until I lock the thread.

    Nights:

    [*] Nights will be 2 days [48 hours] long.
    [*] Night extensions will only be made for replacement finding, or any other circumstances which I deem worthy.
    [*] Players may request any deadline extensions for the night, with reasoning attached. Note that I may decline.
    [*] The above request can be sent (with reasoning) in-thread for day extension too, or of course in a PM to me.
    [*] If you have a night action and did not submit anything until night's end - I will count this as you doing nothing. If compulsive, it will be decided randomly.

    [*] Votes will only be counted if they are in any of these formats:

    [*] Unvotes are not necessary.

Question to the Mod: can you only get hit once every night? What I mean is, if both mafia factions choose the same target, does this target get hit twice or only once?

So I'm thinking. Scum will probably try to get rid of the other mafia faction first cause they pose bigger threat with their pr and night action. So we could just scumhunt and then nl and let the mafia kill each other, right? Dunno if that works

If a Bulletproof person gets shot twice in the same night, the first shot removes his vest, and the second kills him.

Riiiight but day1 both mafia's can jump on the same wagon if they fail to recognize each other and force a lynch. But if it turns out, a townie's died, we'd know all mafia members right off the bat, which would be pretty amusing. My guess is, goons from the same faction are gonna try not to be on the same wagon.

I usually post rather scarcely but it's early Saturday plus nobody was writing anything so why the hell not. Aren't you happy to have more material to analyze? I can't tell how I'm gonna play cause I don't have a consistent style so have fun replacing out if you can't take it.

Moving on. Regarding your first question:

I think it can have value. It puts a target on your back for next night, but if you don't mind that, it can be used as a scumtell.

I disagree that this setup is rought on town, though. With two mafia factions against a town this small, cross-targeting becomes a major factor, and subsequent night action resolution can shed some light on alignments.

I'm torn on a No Lynch as well. On the one hand, we are slightly more likely to lynch scum than town (4:3), and slightly more likely to be hit by either kill than for the opposite mafia faction to be (3:2) - which is not an immediate issue, given the bulletproof vests, but it's nicer to keep having that safety as long as possible. So lynching someone would mean getting ahead of the kills. A No Lynch would make sense if we hope for cross-targeting. But none of this is taking the roleblocks into account.

It's been a while since I've thought about mafia - what are the others' opinions on these questions?
