Ok thyroid, if you really want an answer to your questions, here you go.

If a townie really thinks someone is scum, they should explain their vote fully, aside from a certain few circumstances that would hurt the town more (ex. They would need to claim they are the cop on day 2 or something when the town is not anywhere near LyLo yet).

Scum are usually less likely to explain their votes because many times they are pushing people without much reasoning, just that they know they are not scum. This means that anything they say is BS, and if any of that is proven wrong then they are suspected of being scum.

Also, bamboomancer, keep the damn football out of this topic kthnx. On a note, you also claim that Belgarion is the lynch for today, but you voted Thyroid just lines earlier in the same post.

I told you why I voted for thyroid, and it was just on principle, and I stated that I intended to unvote him once he gave me an apology.

Also, no, I won't stop saying things that are true. You cannot silence the truth!

Things that are true:
Nocmen is witch hunting, and not reading my posts!
The roles in this game are bizarre, and hey, mabye you shouldn't be attacking people for consistency in what they say, Nocmen!
Belgarion is the lynch today due to doc senses, and nothing else, I have no other proof.
Adrian Peterson is pretty damned impressive for a rookie.

Okay, it's not BABOOM. It's not BAMBOOM.
It's Bamboomancer: like necromancer, but with bamboo instead of necro.

So to recap:
I am not a Baboom. I am some sort of bamboo magic man.

Hey comrades, my bad for missing 5 pages. Things have been a bit funky. I'm doing a reread now, and shall post as soon as I'm done.

Nocmen: Is there something that activates your PR, or are you just doing it for fun?
1 meep for activation
2 meep for fun

Thyroidman: You have any plans to enlighten the town as to why we should buy your tickets? Without detail, I'm hesitant to go out on a limb for something that could very well be some kind of cult recruitment device. Your word that the town will "profit" means nothing. More importantly, will you profit from us buying your little tickets?

UltimaAvalon (post 75): Thank you. Everyone should have an avatar. It makes reading for the people much easier :P

Vote: Tyroidman
: With the combination of the RenFairCrypticness, and unnecessariy hostility, in my mind, he is by far the most scummy player yet.

Yes, your argument is a common one. I would agree with it, but there's something pretty important missing.

It can sometimes benefit the town by voting without giving a reason.

Sarc:
No, I'd rather not say. Of course the fair benefits me, seeing as I'm town. What uneccessary hostility do you get from me? If I was a cult recruiter, why wouldn't I wait until end game or a later time? Why would MoS include this role in the game? Do you honestly think that role could be balanced?

Also, we are speaking on hypothetical terms because if you look at past games, I think you'll find scum do not make reasonless votes any more than townies do.

The only reason I'm not quoting it here and now is I feel a role that powers up based on how many people quote works for both town and scum. Statistically, he's more likely to be town (and I don't see anything that makes me think he is scum at this time), so I may well be quoting the Ren Faire thing by the end of the day.

^ Hostility

In regards to why MoS would include such a role in the game: As you've said before, MoS isn't stupid. However, this doesn't mean that every role should be self-contained ballance. He's an intelligent mod, and I would guess with near certainty that he would put in roles to ballance out those as powerful as you might have.

Also, do you know nothing about what your Fair tickets do? Or are you just not telling us?

In regads to the Nocmen thing. I think its perfectly feasible that he's not allowed to talk about the PR, and if he does he must feign ignorance at its existence. Therefor, the correct thing to do is, since there are times when he does speak plain english, just ignore the meep posts.

Also, I remember a role in one fo Pariah's games that was powered by FoS's , and self destructed, killing millions. That, and a bad experience I had when I did go to Scarbie Faire, are good reason why I wont be buying a ticket.

That was FoSes though, not buying tickets, which would be a more obscure way, but also more punishing to the players that fufilled those certain conditions.

I also agree with what stark says regarding the tickets. Does the seller know what they do?

With that kind of attitude, why should anyone respond to your questions and statements? Do you have something to hide?

And I'll pass on the fair. They aren't really my thing. Now if you had tickets to a concert, then I'd be down.

IRL I already have a ticket to RenFest... going on Nov 17th... >.> So you will have to do better than that. I have seen protown roles that had a "if 1/2 of the town says _____" then you get to do ____. But just the role description does not guarantee your alignment, nor can we know that your ability will be good for the town.

In regard to all the activity... while many day activities will probably be truthful, there is a chance that a scum will try to use a "public" ability as a cover though, so we cannot be that trusting.
"It's not a logical inconsistency. B can't be correct because then C would be, but it doesn't go the other way - there's nothing wrong with C being correct. Aside from Twomz saying otherwise." --Mith

I think there may be truth to nocmens PR, but I am not sure of his alignment. Eitherway, if hes screwing around, it doesnt seem to be hurting the town...

Unvote
. It's a bit past random stage and voting Bamboomancer mostly for mentioning football in this topic isn't a viable reason to keep it on him anymore.

I still want to hear from Thyroid on whether he knows waht the tickets do.
