Wouldn't mind some input from Fernando at this point, and maybe something from JDodge as well. I'm not inclined to move my vote off xyzzy, but I'm not sure that I want to lynch him either.

You're right, though - that's a big flaw of my plan. My plan assumes people will play their role, rather than letting others do it for them.

Plan suggestion revoked.
This looks like a plea to pull votes off. I'm sticking with mine right now unless it changes in the atmoshpere.
Incidentally, that sounded very wagonny (not a word). Sounds like you're just going to follow others in deciding where to place your vote.

I don't like the way xyzzy tried to explain it away, but I'm
not
comfortable with having him at -1 quite yet, especially with a lyncher about.

Call it a plea to remove votes if you will; I call it apologizing for not noticing the obvious.

I am aware that my plan, if implemented, could've resulted in an easy lyncher win. If I were the lyncher, I'd be trying to come up with a counterargument, not admitting that it wasn't actually a very well-made plan.

Well, at least we can deduce some information from the fact that you sat on lynch-1 for a while without being lynched.

Indeed. xyzzy isn't the lynchee, which means it's OK to lynch him! Hooray!

On a completely unrelated note, cannahavvavotecount?

Yes: either myself or one of the people on my wagon is the lyncher.

Of course I know it's not myself, but there's no good proof that isn't WIFOMy...

While the information gleamed from a new day is useful, you should never be
glad
about a deadline - it hurts the town.

This is scummy.

EBWOP: I think I can pretty safely say benhalkum is the GF or goon from this statement.

unvote, vote benhalkum

Only the GF or goon would be "glad" about a possible no-lynch.

To be honest? I am happy for a deadline, because although no lynch IS bad.. a full day/night cycle reveals a LOT more information that we don't already have. Cops investigate, mason's (if any) recruit, and vigilante's (if any) can have an oppertunity to whack a bad guy. I'd PERFER we come to terms with a lynch before, and THEN let the night take toll and info come in, but a continuos day phase that never ends does nothing but keep us in a deadlock, as we are right now.

Well, there's no "if any" in this game - the only thing that will happen tonight is that the scum will make a kill. I've already gone over the stats as to why this isn't necessarily the best move statistically, but if we're really that paralysed by indecision then it may not be the worst option, especially if the scum happen to kill the lyncher or lynchee tonight and clear us to concentrate on hunting scum tomorrow.

Plan B would probably be to lynch xyzzy and hope for the best, though honestly it would be a pretty baseless lynch right now...

That's always the bad thing about lynching this early in the game, it's usually baseless in most cases.

This is looking like it's going to be a no lynch by way of inertia... I'd really like to improve our odds of actually getting a win by lynching
someone
, but we're unlikely to be able to establish much more information today in the time we have (and with the activity level that we have).

I take it nobody else is on board with lynching xyzzy?

Because the key to gaining information is day-discussion.

A deadline lowers the amount of time we have to get that information.

Yes, but with a distinct lack of activity, is it really that bad?

It might not be that bad, but it's not that good either. I guess it's not like we're getting anywhere as it is...

...Um, yeah.

Everything can be analyzed, even the lack of information. If someone chooses not to post while remaining active elsewhere on site, there is a reason.

I request to be replaced. I am no longer participating in mafia games hosted by mafiascum. I did enjoy my stay but the games are too slow paced and unproductive for me.

Votecount

xyzzy (2) - benhalkum, Erg0
benhalkum (2) - FeRnAnDo, xyzzy

Not Voting - SSF, Inarticulation, JDodge

If the deadline has already passed (ie. JDodge's request was ignored), then under the deadline rules on page 1 somewhere, xyzzy is dead.
