The thing is, it's likely that we will give the bells to a pro-town player because pro-town players make up the majority. People seem to be voting No Distribution because they're scared of scum getting the money, which is stupid. In bells, we've been given an opportunity to hurt the mafia. We shouldn't be throwing that away.
While I agree that it's more likely that we would be giving the bells to a pro-town player, even without handing off the bells, we'd all as a group make more than the mafia.

Therefore, why not just skip one day and get an idea as to who is who before we take the chance? There's always tomorrow...

I think we can decide on who might be a good candidate for giving bells to based on this discussion. I vehemently oppose just throwing these bells down the drain.

We should NOT vote no distribution. These bells can be important, and the things you buy with them. The shovel, for one, could be a very helpful item (I have one).

I agree we should disribute, but there is still the problem of to whom. I think I would be a good recipient. Of course, I doubt that's going to happen.

Err, and to finish up on tht post, I think it is wiser to not ditribute them. Tommorow we will have a better idea on whos scum, and then there will be three bells to distribute. Unless he or she bought somehting.

Are you referring to Yosa's bells? If so if we don't vote anyone for them now they get thrown away. However if you're referring to whoever get's lynched tommorrow then my bad I'll retract my statement.

O.K, here's what I mean: I think we should throw away todays bells, because there's too much of a risk. I know you all say that there are more townies than mafia, but still, what if the one guy we pick to give the bells to a mafia? Then we just helped them out. I think we should wait till tommorow, that way we may have a little bigger picture of who is scum.

The items aren't going to be nearly as helpful for scum. We need to give them to
Someone
. Too bad he isn't playing.

Har har har, anyone who understands that gets a cookie.

Lowell wrote:No distribution??? Really?? That can't be right.

Since what I do best is come up with dumb game theories, try this one on for size.

What if the COP, assuming we have one, claims and we give the bells to him/her? Bear with me....

(1) We can probably safely assume we have at least one DOC in this game as well. Therefore, AT LEAST until that DOC is dead the COP will be protected. Furthermore, once the DOC is revealed dea, the COP will (presumably) have some confirmed innocents to pass the bells onto before s/he dies the following night.

(2) Frankly, in games like this, I'm always in favor of the COP claiming as early as possible. That way we don't run the risk of losing any information due to a random kill by the mafia or whoever. However, IN THIS GAME, it is even more important that the cop come out early. With all the bells, the mafia could do some scary things. We need to have someone come forward as soon as possible.

Okay, discuss.
Someone let me know when we commence to lynchin, cause this guy needs to be a lynched.

Aye. Lowell, your "plan" is good in theory, except for the fact that any scum can claim cop. I'm surprised you didn't mention having the cop confirm first, because a claim is quite weak, as you've no idea if they're lying.

I say we distribute the bells to someone, because we'd have a higher chance to give bells to a townie then a mafiate.

Hard to say. The whole town's looking pretty scummy, as we had that pile-up on IH which made me think it might be scum looking for an opportunity to give bells to their buddy, then Lowell with that insane cop-claim idea, then everyone suggesting No Distribution.

I think if I had to move my vote I would move it to IH, though. He's made good points today, about the No Distribution vote and the justified suspicion of Lowell.

This strikes me as a bit scummy, due to the fact it's a dumb IGMEOY, but it's not that big of something.
