Right now, those two bells could mean alot, because whoever recieves them has enough to buy the net. And since that is worth 5 bells, I would be guessing that it is vewy vewy helpful. (Sorry for the bugsbunny moment :P)

Anyways,
Unvote: Whoever I was voting, Vote: ChannelDelibird
for absolutely no reason. I like Espeon better but Delibird is fairly decent, too.

Anyway, do the bells -have- to go to someone? Could we vote to have noone get the bells?

Aren't I a good choice? A vote for me to get bells is a good vote for to help out the town!

Since I know I'm not going to get the bells, I've give it to
Vote: ChannelDelibird

Since Delibird is cool, but Charmander is better. Pokemon rules. :D

'No Lynch' in this case is the equivalent of not giving away the bells.

Well then, I think it's fairer and safer to go with the no distribution.

Do you think these items are probably better than powers a scum role is going to have?

No, but mabey the net can trap one player and you see what his role is. We don't know, and that could help the mafia greatly, cause they could find out who the cop is. Or the docter.

I'm going to have to agree with not handing the bells out. Chances are that there are fewer mafia than townies(duh). In that case, there are more of us who have the ability to buy potentially useful items. However, we'd just be risking giving that money to the wrong person if that's what we decided to do.

Hard to say. I would guess that the batch on sale today are not.

FoS: all those voting No Distribution

Giving the Bells to someone is clearly better than not.

Except giving someone bells is not the same thing as not lynching. In no lynching we miss an opportunity to lynch a mafia. With not giving anyone bells, we delay the possibility of possibly getting a possibly useful item. Not a huge loss.

The thing is, it's likely that we will give the bells to a pro-town player because pro-town players make up the majority. People seem to be voting No Distribution because they're scared of scum getting the money, which is stupid. In bells, we've been given an opportunity to hurt the mafia. We shouldn't be throwing that away.

Pro-town players should be encouraging the possibility of getting useful items earlier.

No distribution??? Really?? That can't be right.

Since what I do best is come up with dumb game theories, try this one on for size.

What if the COP, assuming we have one, claims and we give the bells to him/her? Bear with me....

(1) We can probably safely assume we have at least one DOC in this game as well. Therefore, AT LEAST until that DOC is dead the COP will be protected. Furthermore, once the DOC is revealed dea, the COP will (presumably) have some confirmed innocents to pass the bells onto before s/he dies the following night.

(2) Frankly, in games like this, I'm always in favor of the COP claiming as early as possible. That way we don't run the risk of losing any information due to a random kill by the mafia or whoever. However, IN THIS GAME, it is even more important that the cop come out early. With all the bells, the mafia could do some scary things. We need to have someone come forward as soon as possible.

Okay, discuss.

...you're not taking into account scum claims, multiple cops (counterclaiming), sanities, possible variant docs, not to mention the dangerous assumption that there must be a cop-doc combo in this game. It's likely but I wouldn't like to take it for granted over 2 bells.

I would much prefer that any cops we have stay hidden until we need them for something crucial. I don't think 2 bells are enough to warrant them being made public.
