Calling for a claim makes you look more scummy in my eyes, to be honest. You said that you wanted him lynched; so why do you now want a claim? It strikes me as a rather forced attempt by you to look pro-town. (On day 1 in this post you seemed sure that the scum had safe claims, although I guess TJM kinda disproved that.)

I can only get on on public computers, since mine is dead. That means my ability to post is very very limited and I don't believe that that's fair to the mods or the players I'm playing with. Now, to avoid you guys from mislynching-

My claim. Right now, I'm a vanilla townie. Before, I could cast corpse explosion on one person- it would kill either the hammerer or the person who NKed them. I cast it on Skruffs the day before he was lynched. I figured that he was the play for the next day, and I also figured that scum would hammer him because they saw the same thing. His self hammering was highly unexpected. Don't believe that's what I really did- check his death scene, the corpulent blew up!

I'll pull the spelling of my name out of my role PM in a minute, I'm the act 5 necromancer turncoat.

That being said, if I knew whether or not my computers would allow me to keep playing, I'd push for a mass claim, and I'd tell you who the scum were from that, but since I don't know, and in that situation, only the scum could benefit, I'm dropping any thoughts of that.

Does Frozensien explode when you kill him?

He more of shatters when he is killed if I remember correctly, but it has been a while since I played the game, and even longer since I've killed Frozenstein. I can tell you that Nihlathak is definately a character in the game.

I haven't gotten that far and I'm willing to believe that Ninlathak is a character that could be concieved in the mind of either Zindaras or Remussaidow, making the issue whether you believe the role is plausible.

Corpse explosion is like what happened with the corpulents (although technically it would happen whenever the necromancer wanted it to, but that's probably a non-issue in game terms). When I first read it, I thought he exploded due to his violent overdose of pain. I can't tell if it's a game mechanic or just flavor, or both.

Thanks STD. I read the explosion as mere flavour, too (although I'm not really up with the flavour of this game, obviously).

As far as finding if the claim is plausible or not, I also don't know much about Diablo, but can't we search Wikipedia/Google/something to find out information on his role to see how likely it sounds?

I disagree that he shouldn't have been lynched. He changed his claim, and certainly seemed to be serious about it to me. That's the reason I voted him

My point is that it appears that minor characters are difficult to verify this way.

Just a point Nihlathak is not nearly as minor of a character as Frozenstein, and is definately Prime Evil aligned. He is working for Baal (Diablo's brother). But the real question comes down to whether or not we believe his claim.
