Who would UT accidentally kill? We have decided on UT targetting Gnome.
Besides, the mafia have better targets than a mason group.
Also, we need a doctor to protect Hobbes tonight.

As far as I see we have the night plan perfect. If Gnome is found eaten by a tiger than he was scum and we should look at those that were protecting him.
Korais666 also wrote:I already believe both of their claims, and I don't see why this checking is really nessicary
Yes, but wouldn't you rather have our innocents confirmed? Besides, other than having three pro-town night choices (Block, Protect, and Vigilante kill) decided upon for us, we aren't losing anything overnight, as it wouldn't be much better to have a random block and random doc protection instead.

Also, I believe it was Zoneace that had some knowledge of aliens in the game? I think that it might be a subcatagory as suggested before, as I wonder whether or not Spaceman Spliff would be considered an alien.

Oh yeah, I was just thinking about modargo. If gnome indeed
is
a mason, then modargo's protection of him won't be scum behavior, as it might bey well mean that modargo is the other mason.

so,
unvote: modargo

and @ korais: I think the plan is good, since it coordinates our pro-town resources for a pro-town task instead of somewhat random, individual choices on the part of the people with roles.

my information was merely that the teachers had turned into aliens and that they are the ones we need to find. I took that to mean that the teacher/aliens are the mafia.

That makes sense, I'll reread the thread and the original Calvinball rules to look for anyone suspicious as I have nothing to go on today.

The plan is fine. It has its drawbacks, but so does every plan. At this point, just follow God's plan and see what happens. Also, I see no downside to using their abilities to check this. It's still only day 1; role blockers and vigilantes generally are not (or at least should not be) using their abilities this early anyway, as the chance is high that they will block or kill a valuable pro-town role. All that's really being "used up" is a doctor protect... but that's a consequence of having somebody with a revealed role that's definitely in the game and definitely pro-town (Untrod Tripod as Hobbes), which is independent of the plan.

And replace tehgood with PolarBoy already!

Woo for PB! Now, if he doesn't maintain his previous level of helpfulness, we can conclude he's mafia and kill him.

So get to it!

Well, welcome to the game PolarBoy. So, now the million dollar question is: what do we do next?

There's really nobody I have any serious suspicions of right now, so I don't know what to do right now!

*doesn't welcome Polarboy, just be be mean* :P

I'm just as stumped as the rest of us. I guess I'll
vote: no lynch
for now, although I doubt it'll actually happen.

I was suspicous of Korias before, and his advocation of a no lynch on day one just firms them up.

Vote Korais
. No lynch on day one simply makes things for too easy for the mafia. And you don't even provide good logic, you simply pop in, make your stupid move, and pop out. Simply far too anti-town for me to let slip by.

the only reason I can think of a no lynch is if:

1. there are a lot of players, and the game started with no night at all.
2. a fellow mafia member has been suspected of (because for mafia, I think lynching townies is good and lynching mafia is bad  )
3. can't think of anymore

If anyone has anything else to add...
as of now, korais, you're proposition indeed is not beneficial to the town. therefore,

The only time I have found a no_lynch to be good, is if there's four players left at the end game, and you're sure there's only going to be one kill that night.... AND, there's not one person who's completely exonerated from being suspicious. Other than that, I think no lynch is a waste of a perfectly good day. I mean, why not just lie down and let the killer snow goons or the bicycle from hell just eat us? ;) Seriously, I think accusing at random is MUCh better than a no lynch, and we have a target lined up.
Vote: Korias666
, I think this is vote 4. Please do not lynch without a role claim.

I'm normally against lynching people just for their ideas (he says as he proposes a no lynch in another game....), but I have to agree that korais666's post sure
feels
a little scummy.

I'll hold off my vote for now, but I guess I'll throw a

FOS: korais666
, just to up the pressure leve.

Yeah, I'll agree korais post seems a bit scummy, but I like my vote where it is right now (EPR). I might change it, but I want to hear korais response to the allegations against him first.

mod, can we get a vote count?

I'm going to have to think that, although other players have seemed anti-town, Korais made the biggest anti-town move with his no-lynch.

The votes on EnPaceRequiescat seem to have been missed in the vote count. Not that it matters.

Anyway, it seems to me that it's about time for korais666 to claim. Yay for bandwagons and all.
