Intro:

In a quiet little village in Spain live a gentle people. They tend to their small lives with their children and their livestock, living from day to day in a serene demeanor. Unfortunately, safety was a privilige that they are now without, as others now threaten their peaceful lifestyle. Fearing the impending danger, the town has pooled what littlle wealth they have and have hired a band of mercenaries for protection. Will they suceed?

Welcome to Resident Evil 4 mafia, loosely based on the awesome, award-winning game for Gamecube and Playstation2. In that game, one man defeated an entire town of infected humans and rescued the USA's President's daughter. In this game, the town has the benefit of being able to fight back before any harm can come to them.

Rules (stolen from bloojay, who probably stole them from elsewhere):

Each 'Night Phase' will last around 3 Real-Time days. Extensions by request. If you fail to turn in a choice for that night then you forfeit it.

Days will last as long as needed, but if discussion becomes slim then I may impose a deadline.

Votes must be in bold. (E.G.

Vote: Mikeburnfire

) If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.

Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life.

Forfeiting a lynch is allowed; it requires the same votes as a lynch. Day will end and night will begin.

The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.

Once you're dead, you're dead. There are no zombies in Resident Evil 4. A 'bah' post is acceptable, though.

If you're going to be gone any amount of time, let everyone know in this thread please.

As the innocent people slept silently, much was abrew in their innocent town. Shadowy figures moved in the night, who would be alive in the morning?

As day broke, everybody woke to find the horrors of an innocent CaptainDuctTape dead in the center of town. Lacerations covered the body and it looks like the person who killed CDT did it as slowly and painfully as they possibly could. The victim was Claire Redfield, brother to Chris Redfield, who heard about the Mercenary gig from Leon Kennedy and was determined to help out in anyway possible. Unfortunately, she won't be able to sneak around and investigate anymore....

However, that would not explain why there was only ten people left.... upon figuring out who was missing, they go to Kelly Chen's house and see that the door has already been busted into. But nothing could prepare them for what they see inside. It's the body of the nefarius, previously-believed-to-be immortal antagonist, Albert Wesker. His trademarked black sunglasses lay broken in the corner and his black outfit was completely soaked in blood. A shotgun casing lay on the ground, which could explain the fatal shotgun wound.

CaptainDuctTape, Claire Redfield (Cop) knifed to death
Kelley Chen, Albert Wesker (Mafia Leader) blasted to bits

With ten alive, it'll take six to lynch. Day starts now!
