Ankh-Morpork, a cultural melting pot, has been struck by a wave of brutal killings. Some suspect radical Dwarfs are behind it, others suspect the Troll crime syndicate is cleaning up its ranks. Concerned citizens have not been able to stop the masses from resorting to mob rule. Among this chaos, it's up to you to discover the truth and rid Ankh-Morpork of evildoers.

Gathered around Sator Square that forms the communal heart of Ankh-Morpork, are a large group of Ankh-Morporkians. Among them the suspects, but also the more prolific and concerned citizens of the city.

That was the sound the heavy file made as it hit the Patrician's desk.
Vetinari, the Patrician and ruler of the great sprawling city of Ankh-Morpork, looked up sharply and said.
"Is this the Quarry Lane business again, Drumknott?"

Drumknott, his personal secretary, nodded and added, with a note of concern in his voice: "Two more bodies were found last night. The Troll community is up in arms. There have been over a dozen reports of fights in the street this day alone. How this situation can be diffused, I'm not sure."

"That's what I feared." Vetinari responded as he ruffled through his papers and produced several loose sheets of paper. "Bring these orders to the Watch, will you?"

"I have an assignment for them." A secret gleam of knowledge and hope crept across his eyes. His plan was unfolding. He just hoped he had hit the right buttons in time.

Confirm by PM, please. The game will start in Day. Feel free to talk in pre-game if your role allows talking in the night phase.

The sun dawned on a transformed Sator Square. Merchant stalls had been overturned and a restless mob had formed around a make-shift platform.

A group of grim-faced dwarfs marched into the square, a short stretcher carried between them. It revealed the latest victim of the wave of killings, a liberal dwarf thinker.

As the dwarf left the square, the sombre mood made way for a chorus of shouts and accusations. The make-shift gallows stood gleaming in the golden light. It would see blood today.

Confirmations are in. It is now Day 1. 12 alive, 7 to lynch.
