Eh, well played everyone. I'm glad I stuck around to finish what I started.

You didn't play poorly Salamence, neither did Whiskers or Cogito for that matter. But after Pine the pressure never really built up on either of us. Don't know if that's just because we were slippery or lucky to have no one seriously work us over.

Well played Junpei. :) Nice buddying with you.

In terms of the set up, I'm not sure about the double voter. I'm not surprised about Michel's repeated protection of SV, but honestly with the way the roles got dished out Michel was a more valuable loss than the double voter anyway. Hence why we killed him off before SV even when we knew he was a bodyguard. If the cop had lived for longer it would've been an entirely different kettle of fish, but that didn't play out. Thanks for modding the game, your level of involvement was great, and you did a great job to keep it ticking over.

You shouldn't feel bad for being wrong, Salamence20 (although you might learn not to dismiss someone like Junpei so easily), but I have to say I'm disappointed you didn't give me a chance to set things right. All your vote did was set up this exact scenario.

Also, I don't know why you decided to basically explain why you killed AurorusVox, pecan. Otherwise, well played.

Being the honest and open town player that I was I wanted to make note of that. :) Thought Whiskers was planning to make a big case of me so I didn't want to ignore that possibility and stifle my defence (which I'd prepared if need be).

You can get away with plenty as scum. Playing the game as honestly and openly is certainly not a bad strategy in general but you can take it too far.

My RVS scumdar pings again!

Apart from that, I'm sad we didn't win, but I think the mislynches were lined up nicely by scum, so credit etc.

VE's self-hammer was terribad though.

Ah AV old buddy, bad luck. I was glad to get rid of you, and I mean that in the best possible way.

I guess I should have looked to see who else might have wanted AVox out of the way after all!

And yeah, there's only so much blaming of Salamence I can really do here because I thought it was CES/Salamence for the scumteam (BOTH wrong) and would have voted CES at the end of the Day anyway. But THAT is why you don't leave your vote out like that in LyLo. Especially

Make a case?
I don't know. I'm not very good at scumhunting myself. At some point I realized my scumplay is much better than my townplay, so I started playing town the same way I play scum: "look good, be in control."

Pay closer attention to these kind of votecounts. If someone flips scum, unless the scum team is extremely bussy, there will be scum on someone elses wagon. When AV flipped town, I was sitting in the dead thread begging for someone to notice this votecount because it means either pecan or Whiskers is scum, and I was leaning pecan anyways. Michel noticed it in his last post before VEyes quickhammered, and nobody remembered it.

Given your flip, nhammen, scum team needn't've been particularly bussy to both be on the Pinelynch. That's a really silly tell (and mostly just the grouping fallacy in action).

I'll respond to the first thing tomorrow or something when I have more time, but as for the game. You were the last mafia and we had one ML left (5p). Everyone thought you were town or didn't suspect you. Then I replaced in and made a huge case on you (a wall of walls). You argued with me for pages of walls and eventually I let out and decided my suspicion on you wasn't strong after all.

Then, after gaining control of the whole town, you hammered on yourself on accident because you thought you were already voting yourself at L-1.
The melody of logic always plays the notes of truth.

Setup was fine, but the distribution of powerroles fell really badly for us, IMO. Doublevoter has the advantage of being virtually confirmed, but SV's extreme lurky play made that rather a waste. Similary, Bodyguard is an excellent role to keep powerroles alive, but I hope I'm forgiven for saying that as one of the stronger players in the game, it wasn't ideal that I was the one receiving it. And losing the cop through nightkill night 1... unlucky, IMO. Town would probably have been far stronger with SV bodyguard, nhammen doublevoter and myself as cop.

I really hated the way VisceraEyes selfhammered as town. It's never good play, and definately not when other players request the time to write down their thoughts. As Nhammen mentioned PoPP and Whiskers should have been pressured far more for their day 2 play, but that got completely lost.
There is no 'a' in Michel.

^Very true.

For the umpteenth time, my apologies for my activity levels. I don't think I did a single pro-town thing this game except that one time I was suspicious of PoPP. Well played the scum team, Junpei was very town-looking and PoPP was under the radar. Pine, were all those post mortem mislynch setups intentional? If so then you were possibly the best scum player on the team, setting up two straight mislynches (more or less) after you're dead isn't easy.

Looking back on the game I have to agree with Michel. The distribution of who got what PR could have been better. SV's extreme lurking hurt town a lot. I know from having had the role myself that double-voter can be extremely powerful for town, IF the player is active enough to make good use of it.
