Strange things have been happening lately. UFO sightings, crop circles, and people having strange dreams point only to one thing: the aliens have come. Your suspicions are confirmed when a resident witnesses an alien being stealing the body of a townsperson. Mass panic ensues, leaving only 12 people to stand between the body-snatching aliens and the rest of humanity.

Rules

1. Please bold all votes and unvotes. The moderator is not responsible for any miscounts due to unbolded votes, hanging chads, or supreme court rulings.
   
2. Executions will require a simple majority of votes. Once a simple majority has been reached, nothing can stop the execution. Players may
   vote: no lynch
   – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
   
3. Should the moderator deems it necessary, a deadline will be instituted. If no one has received a majority of votes by the deadline, the player with the most votes will be lynched. However, if no one has over half of a majority (1/4) of votes by the deadline, no lynch will occur. In the case of a tie, whomever was at the required number of votes first will be lynched.
   
4. Do not post anything game related once you are dead. It freaks me out when dead bodies get off the floor and start talking.
   
5. Quoting any PM from me is strictly prohibited.
   
6. Do not discuss the game with other players outside of the thread unless your role PM allows it, and only do that at night.
   
7. Do not edit/delete any of your submitted posts. Once you’ve posted a mistake it will be there for all eternity.
   
8. If you anticipate being gone for more than two days, please inform me and the other players. Side effects of unannounced absences may include nausea, diarrhea, and/or replacement.
   
9. Deadlines for night choices are there for a reason. If you miss the deadline, you will perform no night action. Reasonable requests to extend the deadline will be granted.
   
10. Mafia is a game. Quite a fun game actually. Just remember, “don’t take life too seriously; you’ll never get out alive.”

• This is a split role/motive game. You will receive both a role and a motive which may or may not give you extra abilities. The standard role PM for a townsperson looks like this:

Day breaks, and everyone awakens. Outside, you see the body of

laying on the ground. As you come closer, you see a big gaping hole burnt through his torso.

“That couldn’t have been done by any earthly weapon!” exclaims a townsperson.

“It must be the aliens!” shouts another.

“They’re going to kill us all!”

After everyone settles down from the shock of finding the dead body, one of you finally has the courage to search for clues on the corpse. All you can find is a bottle of sleeping pills. Apparently, JereIC was a

pharmacist

able to slip sleeping pills into people’s dinner to keep them asleep all night.
