Rude. You don't even play with us and yet you come here to ridicule people...
...I literally didn't say anything...
EDIT: Seriously, ETL. Whatever problems you have with me leaving, keep them to yourself or talk about them with me. Don't blow up anytime I make any kind of comment, because I haven't been ridiculing anybody around here and then I get this? Why would I want to play here if you're going to be like that?

Apparently, Osota has figured out how to game the Thaumcraft research table....
I have never seen anything like this... every single aspect except fames is glowing...

It's cause you have it next to a bookshelf.
Fames will show up eventually, over time.

Really, putting it next to a bookshelf fills in blanks? There is one aspect which is a catch-22, discovering it normally seems to be impossible because all of the items/blocks/mobs which have the aspect also require later aspects to unlock. I'm thinking it's perhaps flesh related? I ended getting by the block by combining aspects on the left research panel.
Looks like the aspects have no research points, so it will still be necessary to look at stuff with thaunometer to progress the research.

Okay. The Community Power system is set up.
It uses Public Tessaract frequency 999 and can realistically provide 15K RF/t (probably closer to 15.5, I went conservative and rounded down after taking out the machine overhead)
I'll post a fully spoilered post with screenies and in-depth specs sometime tomorrow for anyone interested in reading them.

Ha, I have been busy exploring and finding nodes.

Putting the research table next to a bookshelf will allow the aspects to become silver aspects(I think that's what it's called) meaning they will slowly repopulate themselves over time. There's very little about this in the wikis.

also, any aspect, save for primals, can be found by combining it's component aspects in a research table. I don't think there's any aspect in the game that can't be found through scanning, but I could be wrong about that. It's best to just scan everything you come in contact with, though.

That is the one in my house. The ones at spawn at quite a bit smaller and not quite so imposing (still pretty big though. It seems to be the nature of Turbines to kinda overpower anything they are next to).
In try six I just got to the city, and forgot to break ONE spawner in the TiC building....... >.<
But I'm getting better in the pack. From zero to stone wall, powered water and candleberries in just over 3 hours.
Maybe I should grind my way to a PCB so I can at least have sync before trying the city again...
My rule was to not go to the city until I had a power source that could recharge my Sync Shells.

The thing is: to build a sync shell, I need a PCB, to need a PCB, I need a large part of the pneumatic craft, and to get pneumatic craft without going to the city takes a lot of grinding.
I might end up doing just that, but I'm not really looking forward to it.

You should start off with a shell constructor.

You start with one if you chose the "easy way" quest line. The "hard way" does not give you one. (you also start with less bonemeal and no oak saplings)
