Welcome to the final destination. You are all now in the starting screen. Welcome. Mega Man, you have three lives left. You must defeat all of the evil robots before they can get to you. All you robots and Mega Man....get him!

This game is different. The point of the majority of the people is

not

to get rid of the evil - but it is to rid the good. The Mega Man and all of his followers need to be killed, robot buddies.

ok, for people who might not know much about megaman. As you know megaman is a hero, he goes saves the world from this guy named Dr. Wily. Megaman has several allies, the main ones are protoman and doctor light.

Doctor light is the person who built megaman to stop wily.

protoman is megaman's brother. protoman was built by both doctor light and dr wily. protoman disappeared, then when he came back, he worked for wily and was bad. but later, he turns good.

Dr wily, was tired of being defeated by megman so he built another robot that was similiar in abilities to megaman, that robot is called bass. Bass is bad, but in several games he worked with megaman to stop wily.

megaman and bass have support units. megaman has rush, and bass had treble.
if i need to, i will add more information that will correlate with what is happening currently.

we DID just start in day 1, huh? interesting...
off the top of my head i can't think of what changes this may make to game mechanics... other than everyone gets a day and the "numbers" change (i think you can see the wiki for more info)

Another interesting idea is the fact that MegaMan starts off every level in his game with three lives. Since this mafia is about the evil getting rid of the good.. does this mean that we have to kill MegaMan 3 times?

maybe the opposite of a finger of suspicion could be a "halo of innocence" (HOI) though i dont know functionally what good it would do to say you suspect someone of being innocent.

although, as players, it might be useful to keep an "innocent" list much like a vote count list, in thread, if not in personal notes.

actually this is probbaly useless too, but when i noticed we started in day, i thought of other games i knew started in day. into my head popped newbie games and trigger mafia. if there are any more, let me know, but in tirgger mafia, the game started in day to allow the players to say certain trigger words/phrases that changed their roles during the game.

the other thing i thought is i have read at least one game, where posting during the day determined your target and/or action during the night.

this might apply to mega man if the weapon he chooses is based on his "day" choice. but maybe i'm thinking too hard.

We could have started on the day as to give the vig a better choice who is scum, and mabye give the mafia a more chance of not hitting a spy, if they have one.

You guys are looking too into this "starting at day" thing. I know Unsan off this site, and from what I know about him, I don't think starting at day was for any real reason. I think he just decided "Why not start at day?". In AIM mafia, I frequently start at day, just to make the game a little different.

I agree with AniX. I don't think that starting with day really means anything just yet. I think Quagmire was just like "What the hell, let's start with day".
