Well, he didn't. If he knew, then you know that he didn't want to hammer SOG. And based from his reaction to your vote against me, I get the impression that he was also against a hammervote against me. So what did you learn from this?
Also, what reason(s) does he have to place a hammervote this early according to you?

I can't speak for SOG, but most of the time, I vote somebody in the RVS who I know. In this case, only SOG and Sotty were possible for this.
SOG was the lucky one as he's obv a disciple of Happosai.

Why is that weird? In the random stage I often see people "random" vote each other.

Typically, I would think scum like to speed things up with a lynch. I have never played a game with Infection, or any of you for that matter. It was my way of seeing who would be hasty to get things over with, but also my way of seeing if Infection was somehow in cahoots with anyone.

I.E., if Infection & SOG were mafia, then you'd think that Infection would not vote for SOG but instead go for Zaz'. But I also wanted to see if someone would unvote because they were perhaps trying to save their buddy (more specifically the Godfather). Perhaps, as I said, not definitely.

I don't know where you get this argument. Scum won't hammer an innocent in that situation because they will get shot as that is not a move town would make when still on page one and arguably not even out of the random voting stage. If we are scum buddies then a Vengeful Townie wouldn't hammer in that situation either because there is no evidence whatsoever that the player they just hammered is scum and if they are not, they just lost the game for town on page one.

Not really, unfortunately. The only game I have with Zazier is ongoing with both of us alive. With Sotty7, the completed game we have she replaced in late on Day One, while I died Night One, so there wasn't much there to go on; she was scum while I was town in that game. Our other game is still ongoing with both of us alive. It's really too early to determine if one of them would be playing differently yet anyway.

Pretty much what semi said. This is my third game in a row with him, but we have had some what “limited” contact with that. As for ZazieR, I remember playing with her but I think it was quite awhile back now, I don't quite remember the game off hand. Do you ZazieR?

I've got one last question for anyone that's played VM before: About how many days/pages do these games typically last, in both your own experiences & from what else has been on the MS forums?

Scratch that -- I browsed the forums a bit and got a general idea as to how long these things go. I was figuring this would be a quick game because I need to complete 2 games on-site in order to play the Death Note mafia.. which may be starting soon.. without me.

Off-topic @Kise: Just request to be a replacement for the Death Note game and follow along when it starts. There is typically a replacement or two that will be needed near the beginning of the larger games anyway. Or PM the mod to ask for a special request/exception.

I can only think of one player who hammers without a reason. At other times, it isn't done by both town and scum players as it's only bad for your side. So I don't think it's a good indication of anything.

And yeah, I've played with Sotty and SOG, but my game with SOG is ongoing and Sotty has been a long time ago in which I even scumhunted differently.

And yeah, that it's a vengeful set-up makes it even less likely that a player will hammer without a reason or this early.

"Because Kise unvoted Infection" gives me the impression that you think they might have the same allignment aka being scum together.
Though it can also be an extra part to the second part explained below.
"Infection still hadn't posted yet" gives me the impression that you wanted to pressure him with this vote in order for him to start posting.
