Rules (stolen from Werebear who stole them from Meme)

"Nights" will last around 3 RL days. The deadline will be posted. If you need an extension, just tell me, I might need one someday myself.

Days will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose a deadline. If discussion picks up, the deadline will be rescinded. Aren't I the nice one??? (the correct answer is... NO)

Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life.

No lynches are allowed, they require the same votes as a lynch. Any player who votes no lynch goes home and may not post for the rest of the day unless that player reaches half the majority vote for a lynch.

The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so. You button your lip, or I button it for you.

Once your death scene has been posted, unless you're not dead, you’re dead. You will be told if you're not dead. Once your dead DO NOT POST ANYTHING until the game is over.

Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. No matter what stupid thing you've done. Why can't you just THINK? I mean, come on!

If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. The first time you miss a deadline, no choice will be made. The second time you miss a deadline, I will make a choice for you. This usually involves you being unhappy.

As the sun rises the citizens of Gamersville gather at the town square hoping that the rumors of mafia infiltrators are false. After a few hours of discussion it becomes apparent that Rite is not amongst the group. While searching the area for signs of Rite an old man discovers a small, brown paper package resting at the base of the flagpole. Hesitantly the old man opens the package and discovers a mackerel and a silver badge. The old man looks up at his peers with dread and whispers, "The rumors are true. The mafia ARE amongst us and Officer Rite sleeps with the fishes."

I agree with norinel, there's no way we can know your sanity. If there's 2 cops, one of them is usually insane/naive/paranoid. The thing you would usually do in this kind of situation is wait for night, and if your choice is guilty, then either you are lucky finding scum or (most likely) you are paranoid/insane. But in this case, if you are not lying about your role, there's no way to find out.

The best thing to do now is talk. Discussion is the best way to find out if somebody is scum.

Hmmmm, I don't know what to make of PBug. I glad he revealed his result 'cos hopefully he'll show up as insane and I'll be able to bask in my confirmed innocence 8) However, I get the feeling he's scum trying to get a last minute lynch before he dies. Anyway, not much point in speculating as we'll know for sure tomorrow.

I random voted him, and then PBuG came out as a cop who had a guilty result for him. Since there doesn't seem to be a lot of "follow the cop" going on, it doesn't look like my vote needs to stay on so

Talitha- the Roles page is not necessarily exactly what's in this game, or any other. I've been in games where the doctors could protect themselves once or whatever, so I wouldn't be surprised if discer tweaked the "sibling" role so it's two cops instead of a cop and a mafia. Either way, it'd probably be a waste of a lynch if he'll die tonight anyway, or, if he's wrong about rite being his sibling, the mafia will probably kill him to get two cops for the price of one.

Electra, IIRC, sometimes cop sanities are revealed on death, sometimes they aren't.
