as far as I know, the universal rule is if you have a miller role, claim ASAP. It's better to deal with me begin game or midgame than endgame.

I think hohum is try to force himself some miller room so he can claim when he gets investigated

I'm pretty sure that because no one has counter claimed, he's pretty much confirmed. I too am having suspicions of why hohum is so negative towards this claim. Really, that claim would only negativly affect scum. =O... just saaaaaaying

Read the setup carefully. There MAY be a miller, there MAY not be. Don't discount a possible gambit here. That's all I'm trying to say.

I'm not saying for sure that he's lying but I'm also not rushing to the conclusion that he's cleared.

All claims should be taken with a grain of salt and early claims are rarely productive.

Doesn't that make him a policy lynch? Because that's a very sketchy playstyle, and it allows him, if he is scum, to simply say that that is the way he plays.

If he were really the miller I would rather him stopped to analyze the setup prior to the claim. The default reaction of a claiming miller is only useful to test cop sanities. We don't need to do that in this case so there was no need to claim.

there tottaly is a need to claim.

1. if i make it to the end game and its a cop, scum and myself and they investigate me, it's a loss for town.

2. if a cop comes out and says he got a guilty on me, that cop is toast over a town kill.

Well, what do you think of policy lynching hohum? I don't think it's a good idea, since we only have 4 lynches to take out 2 scum, and there's been no good indication that hohum is scum (meaning he defaults to being pro-Town).

i don't always approve of hohum actions, but I have come to learn that you can actually turn him into a use if you know how to co-operate with him. I'm not really for policy lynches either unless it gets really out of hand, and even then it has to be extreme, otherwise I would consider it a gambit.
