The phones ring. Everyone flips their phone open and looks at the text message:

Your first Check Point is Chicago, Illinois... DRIVE!

*The racers all leave the orientation building, located in Sacramento, California. Your phone gives you exact directions as to where to go once you've reached Chicago.

Since this is the first leg, I will give you a 71 hour deadline. The majority of Legs will be a 42 hour deadline though.

Once you turn in your submission, you may not change it.

The contestants dash out of the buildings and into their cars. Shadow and Jordan hops into their bus and speed out of the parking lot. The cars zoom out of the parking lot. Gator slams his bookmobile into Eteocles' vehicle. Eteocles vehicle spins out of control and slams into a lamp post. Eteocles and Pick curse as their vehicle will no longer start. All the other vehicles are now out of sight and on the road. They jumps out and looks around. Eteocles spots an ice cream truck, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" he asks Pick. Pick nodds. Pick waves down the truck. The man stops. Eteocles then grabs the guy and shoves him out of the truck. Pick hops in, "DRIVE!" he screams. Eteocles floors it and the two zip off.

I. R. Man zips past the two buggies in his McLaren 41. AniX in his green vw bug stares down Khelv in his yellow vw bug. Eteocles and Pick zip past them too in their new ice cream truck.

X. D. cruises down the road in his green vanquish. He drops his jaw when he sees J. Dodge in a popemobile. Flea sits in the passenger seat with J. Dodge, "So where'd you get this at buddy?" J. Dodge laughs, "Wouldn't you like to know?" J. Dodge concentrates on the road and attempts to outmanuever the ice cream truck behind him.

Mr. Pigg's lunch wagon roars down the highway. He's confident he is somewhere in half-front of the pack. Sirens go off behind him. Mr. Pigg looks down as his speedometer and curses. Mr. Pigg pulls over and the cop car pulls up behind him. Mr. Pigg watches the oscar meyer mobile pass him and he curses once more. The cop steps out of his car and slowly walks toward Mr. Pigg. Mr. Pigg doesn't wanna ticket and he doesn't want last place. "DRIVE!" he thinks to himself. He slams his foot on the petal and speeds off away from the cop.

The cars pull into the first check point, one by one...

well guys, i spent 999 points in drive (as i have already told a lot of you beforehand) and seeing as i have 21 left, i know everyone's just going to go 22. therefore, i'm going 1 as im more interested to see how high the competition for first place will go when im sure everyone is going so low.
