I'm Baboo, a cop/inventor. I've got a set of mysterious coloured vials which are basically 1 use cop investigations, except they're nearly useless because I don't know which sanity each represents.

My predecessor sent no action n1 so it was randomised by the mod, yellow got a no result on Blight (now TSQ).

I used red on Elmo n2, innocent.

Black on Cogito Ergo Sum last night, guilty.

I admit I've got no idea what sanity each vial is, but with the no kill, Avalon not dying despite the previous non-vanilla softcalims as pointed out by Mirth, and CEG claiming to have been responsible for the nokill with a townie docness...

I call bullsh*t on this. If you got a guilty on CES why did you wait until *after* Kitty and I claimed to vote him. You posted before saying you're happy with a mass claim. Nothing about being suspicious of CES. You have been a non-player the whole game, and we already have a dead inventor. Tell me, why should the rest of us believe you?

Interesting. Why did you choose to protect him when you saw he wasn't the target on either of the two previous nights?

Because I thought there'd be another protective role in the game, and UA was probably the best protection target. When Flameaxe died, I thought UA would be unprotected the next night, so I figured it would be the best time to use my one-shot. Also, I explicitly painted UA as a likely kill target yesterday, to effectively try to stop the kill.

As much as I'd like to vote Mirth, I think the Masons should be given a free pass for today. Which leaves Jenter, Elmo and TSQ, who has yet to be replaced. I'm not sure yet. Jenter's claim is weird though, and I'd like him to explain why he voted me.

Okay. First, I believe CES's claim. But I don't disbelieve Jenter's claim yet, either. It fits with the MMPR character and it fits with the theme.

Since I believe CES's claim, it stands to reason that I believe UA is innocent; scum MUST have targetted him last night. That is unfortunate, because I had this whole case worked up against UA. The only way UA could be scum is if CES is lying to protect UA, which means they would be scum together. That's easily enough found out tomorrow, but I don't think that's the case. The same argument that could be made about Mirth and myself (why would we out ourselves and make it easy for people to link us, as scum) is applicable to UA and CES.

I would be voting TSQ, but he's not here to defend himself, so I'm going to vote Elmo pending a roleclaim. I know Mirth and myself to be town. I believe CES and UA are both town. I'm not willing to dismiss Jenter's claim out of hand.

Wrong. Not everyone has claimed yet. I won't explain the falacy of your logic in light of this, but see Shrek Mafia for a clue.

My remaining 3 vials are rainbow, clear and blue respectively.

My choice of vials was random, since I had no idea which was which obviously.

My theories are either that
a) My vials are 4:2 or 5:1 sane:insane, so I'm still technically an effective power role.
b) Each vial is a different snaity; sane, insane, paranoid, naive, useless and randomised result or someothing like that.
c) I'm just bastard-modded (leaning towards this atm).

I chose Elmo n2 because I'd read very few of (Her? His?) posts in the previous day, and I wanted to have a small basis for reads on all the players.

I chose CES last night because I already had a result on Elmo, my read on mirth was town, and I was confused about CES' play.
I then voted CES not because of my result, but because my result fits with what seems to me a good explanation fo Avalon and CES' play. No kill with a player claiming doc is a lovely scum gambit which can work beautifully (I single-handedly won a game with it once). However, since I'm an inventor in my pm but basically really a doc, and CES is claimig he was given a doc by the inventor n1, has anyone else been given a doc or other power by an inventor? If nobody else has it makes CES' ground quite shaky for his claim. (I haven't obviously).

Actually, though, I just reread the last 2 days and I'll swap the last post around.

Eh? What I'm saying is that despite the cop-like nature of my role, the actual title given by the mod was inventor. Originality was an inventor too, but we have no idea if his inventor role worked in the same way as CES is suggesting, or if he had different types of doc powers, or if he had powers he could use himself, and so on.

It would greatly help my believing CES's claim if someone else had been given a power by Origianlity so we knew he wasn't just BSing.
