Yeah that's why we lost without lynching a single scum and I drove a townie mislynch D1 and didn't have the fortitude to lynch the player I thought was scum at LyLo because I'm brilliant.
DGB wrote:Admission of only skimming, pretending to be rushed. The game is pretty short, so you are stretching credulity. Perhaps you are setting up an excuse for lynching a townie?
DGB that's a skim by my standards. That means reading every post but not having time to think about it. I usually come up with my mafia ideas when I'm not actively reading or posting. Things need to percolate. Sorry for the confusion.
DGB wrote:It is, but then again, it's not a big wagon. As I explained, it comes from elimination rather than anything particularly wrong from QF's part.
It also fits in with a confirmed mafia frame job. Your elimination also contained Streeflo who I've stated before looked scummy to me. I don't know why you chose QF, voting along with a player who has said he will vote "neutrally" (ie not always with the town's interest at heart).
DGB wrote:After admitting you've only skimmed the game
Sorry my use of the word "skimmed" is not accurate as stated above.
and making half-baked, and incorrect conclusions,
I will reconsider my interpretation of your vote based on your statements herein.
DGB wrote: you are voting for "second-best?"
I told you I'd like to lynch Streeflo today. If more people are on board I'd happily vote him. I didn't see the activity level being enough to form a wagon. Now two players come out of the wordwork.
DGB wrote:Are you setting up your excuse for lynching a townie
I would think being in the game for less than 24hours before deadline would be excuse enough if I needed to harp on it. It's not like I'm jumping in a forcing a lynch on someone out of the ether. And it's not my fault this game coasted to deadline without any significant progress towards a lynch was made.
DGB wrote:setting up the lynch for Streeflo tomorrow???
BS insinuation at its best.

If I can find out when exactly the deadline is I will unvote and spend more time on this before deadline.

Had the others listened to you, your logic was flawless. You pinned us down, and for all the correct reasons. No one listened, that was the problem.

Look shafted, you complain that I chose QF over Streeflo.

But look back at the two players that I did not eliminate as likely townies:

Streeflo: PM matching - NOT ELIMINATED
QuantumFruit: - NOT ELIMINATED

Those are my two top picks for today's lynch.

I reckon, I could have picked either. Still could. They're the same to me, except that QF is marginally more nervous caught scum, but I don't attribute much weight to my gut on that one.

Wow interesting that two townies could come back at night. Either we have multiple ressurectors or Streeflo's role was to have multiple lives.

Is anyone else concerned that people brought back from the dead might have a different win condition? It seems like an impossible game for scum if they have to survive to day 8 with constantly recycling confirmed innocents.

Anyway, have 2 Saturday deadlines. Not likely to post anything heavy here until Monday, though I will drop in for one liners.

That would be a nightmare for the scum.

Reversals of alignments would be a nightmare for the town.

Streeflo - with two resurrections, it's possible that some players felt that the consequences of a lynch were not permanent.

That bandwagon did happen very quickly. I hadn't been on mafia for a while and suddenly the wagon went from me to Streetflo. I still don't really understand why.

By the way, I wasn't confused about alignment exactly. Like I understand scum wants Adel to stay in the nightmare and town wants her to wake up. What's tripping me up a bit is this phrasing: "*Someone* is dead, he did not prevent me from waking." So, is someone dead because they did not prevent her from waking? Or are the two things separate?

Wasn't Streetflo scum? - "He did not prevent me from waking." Does that imply that he was supposed to?

It is good to be alive!

Everything I sent through roffman was transmitted accurately.

Why the hell didn't you guys lynch QF? :(. The Streeflo lynch was BS.

I was allowed to make an tracking investigation N2, and I have a result. I was told in my role PM the person I tracked would be notified that I did so, so hopefully that happened, and my role will be confirmed.

My alignment didn't switch, but I can see paranoia in regards to that as reasonable. (shrug). I'm still pro-town.
