EDIT: LZ vs. SSG. That's gonna be a treat. lus, if C9 manages to get past WE, we have the easier(-ish) semis, so there IS a very small chance of finals.
Yeah because C9 was placed to the right while SKT was to the left. Plus, the semis are between the top/bottom left and top/bottom right, respectively.
P-EDIT: LIke I said, easiest-ish. It's not a shoe-in or even anywhere near a safe bet given that WE still performed pretty well, I'd rather them vs. WE than RNG, I think.

Also keep an eye for setup review requests.
The downside of this draw is RNG gets SKT in the semis rather than WE, which makes it less likely to have Korea vs China in the finals. But on the upside, if RNG win the title they will literally have 2-0'd SSG, then beaten SKT and LZ in Bo5s.

I think RNG got exactly the middle of their options to the final. FNC is probably the 2nd best 2 seed they could play(3rd overall). SKT(if they win) is probably the second best option from the likely semi-finalists. And playing Longzhu in the final is what you'd expect. The biggest issue is that beating Koreans in Bo5s at worlds as a non-Korean team is not really a thing that happens.

Almost no one is out of it. Quarterfinal correct = 5 points, Semis = 10 points, Finals = 20 points (pretty much impossible to win if you don't pick the eventual winner fwiw)
Yes, that's me. Unless something really crazy happens, only scenario where I don't reach the top tier is if SKT wins worlds, but I don't think I picked enough upsets to allow me to catch the four people in front of me in our group.

Fuck, I'd be winning if I'd remembered to join the MS league...

I mean, I don't want them to face RNG, and SKT still has the precedent of the last two Worlds behind them, so I'm glad C9 avoids that half until the finals. But at the same time, Longzhu is going to be a very tough opponent and is the best Korean team here at Worlds. I'm admittedly hoping SSG gets an upset win over LZ and then C9 beats them in a close series, though that's rather unlikely.
Also, the Start and top two ones would be TSM, and then the rest would be C9.

No big surprises there. IMT would surprise me if they didn't make it in too. Flyquest and Echo Fox also left to decide. DIG, NV, P1 out so we'll see at least three new teams/owners. One of which is one of those Golden State Warriors guys. Baylife battle.
