Another reason not to stay at L-1 is that Mafia (or more unlikely SK) might risk a kill just to lower the amount of people needed for a lynch. This only applies when there is an even number of players alive (like today).
I'll check out the previous game as suggested.
Also, vote: Max. (Not purely a bandwagon vote.)-

Miztef: I *am* active and playing aggressively. I've never before skipped random voting, and I definitely haven't voted seriously within one day of daybreak... What I'm after in Max's posts will surely not appear if I tell you what I'm looking for. (This is not to say I'm not looking at other people as well.)-

This is why I'm voting Max.Max wrote:First I propose we kill theserial killer, if the 6 mafia die and 6 masons die in a row it would mean thatserial killerwould win with 5 risky kills in a rown, unlikely scenario but with every lynch away from theserial killerwill result in a death.
My proposal, one lynch every week, theserial killercan only kill once a lynch or once every real life week, so we need to be quick, if we go past 7 days we should wait til day 13 before a lynch. If we go at that rate the game will be over reasonably quickly.
And finally, unlike most games you should never claim, ever, and it would be useles as masons would claim town, mafia would claim town andserial killerwould claim town...
Also because theserial killerdid not get a kill pregame it leads me to believe beepy beep beep is scumVote Beep!Beep![/]

Also a very good point.armlx wrote:On top of neko, I don't like muffinhead's 180 from "How do I know who scum is?" to "Vote scumbag Max".-

Boo, I already pointed out the SK for you... And then I happened to be away for one day. I'm not arguing with the speedlynching tactic, it's obviously working, but we can't just lynch anyone who's gone for one day...Guardian wrote:samruc, about as bad as flameaxe
Lloyd: I was agreeing with DGB, did not like Miztef's post.

I still encourage people to vote Max for his excess use of the word "serial killer". (How would *you* react if you got the SK role PM? I'd go nuts...) I've seen this tell work before, and to me, it's worth one of our lynches.
Vote: Max-

People don't heed my warnings. I should have let Max ramble on a bit more about SK's this, SK's that. Now the cat is out of the box... The fact that I'm not dead might be an indication I'm on the right track though.
Albert has impressed me so far in the game, but I'm not feeling his case for DGB. I think she plays like she normally does...
Max, get back and post!-

Hm, explain what? The SK tell should be pretty obvious what I mean from my last posts, so I take it you mean the NK part.
My thoughts were, that if Max wasn't the SK, I might have been killed to frame him. Nabakov was a much safer kill, since he hadn't really put forward any suspicions. (This is kind of weak though if you don't believe him to be SK from the first part...)-

Uhm... Me don't likes.
The only accusations against me seem to be Guardian calling me antitown, which he doesn't seem to have proof for, and DGB finding my last post scummy. Dahill could also vote for me if someone else does. That's not much for a lynch IMO.
I'm not happy about a DGB lynch either... sigh.-

Apologies for the infrequent posting.
To say that I haven't had time to post here would be a lie, but my overall time for Mafia has been somewhat limited (school's back again), and I've tried to prioritize modding over playing.
From what I remember, my suspicions pointed to Max, but what I'd really need now is a read-through. This game is kind of difficult though, as everyone has incentive to downplay their respective roles.
If anyone could, like, ask me some specific questions, just to get me into the game again...-

I'm not the SK.
Seriously. While it's not conclusive evidence, I do have an argument for not being SK.
I don't want to use it yet though.

I've finally had a good reread. Neko is the most likely SK for me. There is plenty of proof that he is not a mason:
1) Look at Guardian's votes, Ooba's vote etc. Very unconsistent with how they treated other masons.
2) There is no living player that he could be paired with, if you look at it closely.
3) Several scum voted him too. This could mean nothing, but I'm pretty sure finding the SK was a distinct goal for scum too.
I know that there are three non-masons alive, which means lynching all of them won't be enough, but I'm convinced enough of this lynch.

Every vote, heck, every single post is a possible clue to the SK. I'm doing what I can to cloud the issue here. There is a possibility the SK has already lost his risky kill ability, but until we know for sure, we'll have to play around the threat.dahill1 wrote:at this point in the game, or at any point for that matter, it is not helpful to speculate who we think is a townie or mason. that information can only help the SK even more.
