Just sayin'

I agree though. I don't think everyone has checked in yet aside from the confirmations. Just because this is a large game doesn't mean we won't notice lurkers

You clearly have not played enough games with me. I am very hippocritical, and I want more posting >.>

IMHO, scotmany12 is taking things too seriously. The purpose of votes and bandwagons in the early day 1 is mainly to gather information, not to immediately lynch scum. I don't like scotmany12 reaction, he is too worried with the sake of town, and he unnecessarily uses many 'insulting' words ("stupid", "retarded", "bullshit"). It really looks like scum trying to look townish. Like, 'Oh my God, a bandwagon is retarded and stupid, and it doesn't help the town at all. I am town, I want to help the town. No bandwagons, that's bullshit'.

It is a good strategy, scotmany12, but you used it too early.

I can't answer for guardian but i know that probability of any one player being scum is equal in a game and does not depend on previous games - Mutually independent events and all ..

I have not played with Scot before. Is he like this in all his games? If so, then it's a null tell ..

criticizing potential ways to get the game going without providing any yourself is peculiar.

note: I am not assuming Beepers is town. Hoping for some reactions, at risk of me looking scummy, but didn't even get much of that :\.

A question to all players :

We all seem to have a lot of different information which gives us more info about the various parts of the puzzle or mystery surrounding the town. (I gather this from the story in my own role pm)

Do you think a full disclosure is a viable option?

I think the flavor puts together a puzzle, but I have a feeling that the puzzle has nothing to do with the alignment.

also a vote count
...seem like the wagon has a ton of steam and a lot of support, and we are only on page 4.

No. Not on Day 1, not on Page 4, not when we probably have a cop and a doc still alive.

How many votes does it take to lynch? Quite a few I suppose.

unvote; vote: scotmany12
The town should be making an attempt to be proactive. Have you ever been to a meeting where there's that one guy that shoots down everyone's ideas but doesn't come up with any solutions? Don't be that guy.

As far as disclosing roles. I think it might be entertaining, but I'm not sure it would do anything but distract us.
Skruffs wrote:Do not use the flavor to form conclusions about players; you will most likely be wrong.
Any attempt to do so would not be helpful at all.

Um, it's an 18 player game... it's going to take more than 5 votes, which is what I put it at, I believe. I'd assume it takes 9 or 10.

It takes ten to lynch, I am pretty sure I have six votes on me right now.

Undo, you have never played with me before, thus I take offense when you say I am acting too serious. You never played with me, so you don't know. If I find something that I disagree with, I'm going to say it. I don't often hold my tongue. Also, I'm to worried with the sake of the town? How do you justify what too worried is? It's the towns job to lynch the scum, and in doing so they need to preserve the town. Also, how does my word choice have anything to do with this?

Guardian, I see you as the only one to even suggested a strategy. And yes I disagree with it cause I thought it would hurt us. No one else have come up with any other method. I might not always have a solution, but if I disagree with something I'm going to say so.

First of all, this is a game, so you really shouldn't take offense because of game attacks.

Now, I'm not a big fan of metagaming. I don't need to know how you usually play. If I find your attitude scummy, I'll say it.

I think you were overzealous when you attacked Guardian's suggestion in the way you've done it. I am not saying I agree with Guardian but, heck, it was page 2, he was probably joking anyway. You took it too seriously and, yes, the choice of words matters a lot. You were aggressive towards Guardian, and you had absolutely no need to be so.

Guardian wasn't joking. His response to when I criticized him shows that. So yes I took him seriously because he was serious. And out of everyone I was the only one who even voice my opinions about guardian's plan. I was aggressive towards him cause I honestly disagreed with his idea.

You know...I wasn't going to bring this up until tommorow, because the way the PM was worded is a bit vauge and I have some possible sanity concerns, but since we're bandwagoning him anyway, I will mention that I have a role-based reason to strongly suspect Scotmany12 here.

Scotmany, are you Baxter Johnson?
