Didn't mention day 1 figuring I would get lynched saying I think I'm quack and Mith died because CB targeted him. Didn't find it necessary to mention today but with PJ confused and people bring in a possible 2nd mafia group I thought it best to nip it in the bud.

now wait a minute...farside? were you given the the McCoy card, or were you making that up? I have only seen a quack once, and it was a game that had 6 docs and 3 quacks..none of which knew if they were a quack or not. Is that the case here?

It is a card with mccoy and say's I'm a doctor, but with CB targeting Mith and Mith dying my first assumption is Quack doctor is insane doctor the same thing with the same picture? Do I look like I know?
I said PJ when pressured instead of Mith because he seemed townie and trusted person. I said RW instead of Sacro because I felt RW was not scum and stated as much before. Didn't trust really anyone at that point. (shrug)

I am actually inclined to believe Farside22, for a number of reasons.

1.)

One of the most memorable games from Thespival was the Quack Game; it is likely to play a part in this game.

2.)

Thesp -- as a mod -- has shown a general tendency towards being misleading about the sanities of particular roles. Examples of this are very evident in his Paranoia Mafia as well as Sanity Mafia.

3.)

Given the lack of a great variety of win conditions in the front post, I think it is very likely that

at least

one of the kills from last night came from the town. This can be explained by a Vigilante role or a Quack Doctor role in particular.

As an additional note, Thesp's penchant for screwing with sanities is another reason why I'm not even bothering with looking for alky breadcrumbs. Even they were present, it would not indicate to us that they are legitimate. He also likes to include a good number of 'useless roles who think they aren't useless'.

Beep! Beep! (aka DGB) should be very aware of this, seeing as how she was in Sanity Mafia, she was a Doctor in that game, and she actually

That said, I will need to mull over Farside22. I do not particularly like the way she has chosen to play; no matter how bad you think claiming might be, if you are going to claim you're better off playing it straight. If you actually

are

a Quack Doctor and had been lynched yesterday without having claimed your Quack Doctor status (i.e. you would show up as a simple Doctor) with your real targets, the town would be forced to play the rest of the game under the assumption that

somebody

had to have killed mith and Sarcastro, which would effect every decision the town made from that point on.

The reason I did it that way, CKD, was so that I could send in my own private PM to Thesp asking that precise question and to see if Farside22 claimed something contrary to the result I received. Additionally, Thesp never answered my question of whether a Sane Cop would receive a guilty result on a Jester when I asked it in-thread.

I don't think I buy farside's recent reveal. RW's point about it being opportunistic is pretty valid, but also:

I already have resigned myself to this lynch. I knew as soon as someone made the WIFOM comment about me not dead and Monkey being doctor that I was resigned to being lynched. So the fight against me is useless. I'm going out with who I think is scum since I'm town. That is what a person in my position should be doing.

This tone was a recurring theme in farside's posts around that time (start of day 2). Here's my question: Why would you have resigned yourself to the lynch before you had even claimed your full role? You made it seem like you had given all the information that you had, and that you were throwing your arms up in helplessness.

And earlier this page you write:

This doesn't mesh with your above stance -- you thought your lynch was inevitable, and yet you didn't think it was necessary to mention it? If you really were a quack doc, I can't imagine you wouldn't have thought that the information you "revealed" would be of significant value to the town (e.g., figuring out the number of scum groups, who killed who, etc.) at the time of your first quote.

Last, your explanation for not revealing day 1 doesn't make much sense to me:

I might have bought "I couldn't be sure I was quack yet, since it might have been two scum groups against my one protect" or "I realized that I had a potentially strong pro-town ability that I didn't want scum to find out about," but "I was worried you would think it was scummy"? Seems like the sort of rationale that only makes sense if you're trying to retroactively come up with something, and hadn't actually spent time in that role in that position.
