He's clearly not a ninja, but I was reading the article on Wikipedia and I got the feeling that he might be considered a pirate. This was also back when I thought that the game would be split in half between ninjas and pirates.

We haven't seen any vampire scum kills though, so, as I'm seeing it, either it's a cult, it's all misdirection by Stoofsy or maybe a non-evil vampire role. Cult still seems overpowered. Third option seems most likely to me.

I personally think Buffy makes even less sense as vanilla now. Vampire Protector would be much more natural a role.

So yeah, nothing much has changed in my view.

Also, a cursory reading of the flavor at the beginning would disabuse all of the notion that the game was just made up of ninjas and pirates. Your vacillation on this point proceeded long past when this idea was clarified. At the time I thought that you were possibly waffling to give yourself safe claim flexibility. This doesnt much change my mind.

I agree, also. First, I see not much room for a cult, but anything is possible. I also think if there was a cult Buffy would be kind of an obv-choice for vampire protector.

I'm inclined to think Iammars is telling the truth about what he's saying (the ibaesha investigation is telling, I think), and I'm suspecting that Iammars is just wrong about Erg0. I also suspect the Vampires are a red herring, though that's only intuition there.

Well, if there ARE vampires, and they ARE scum, and they are a scum group and not (say) a cult, then they've managed to , I am guessing, hit all three other cum groups on consecutive nights, or something, or haven't been targetting.

EVery other scum group, it appears, seems to have a finder AND a protector. Of course, a cult wouldn't need a protector.

Of course, fake claiming to be a power role for a scum group that doesn't exist WOULD be exceptionally genius.
