Voting the mod is just what I said: to ensure the insanity level of the game isn't overly high. For examples, see DP's Bad Luck Mafia, especially the end game.

I don't see not random voting as being a tell unless it goes against your standards.

Yeah good point about hitler... he really didn't get too crazy till the war. Like around the beginning he had good hitler and speech-crazed hitler that he could turn on and off...
why "defend" Dean's actions?
and my point was why not make an attempt at getting the game moving as opposed to just making an observation about the slow start. The worst you could do is rv. If you can complain about a slow game, try and find something to make the game speed up. IMO scum would love to just sit there and us make a panicked rushed lynch 3 hrs. to deadline.
possible explanation of "insanity level" I'll take a look at the DP gave after school tom.

If there's nothing realistically funny to joke about, I quite often do the don't feel like random voting thing and start posting once things start to progress a bit, regardless of town/scum. Just looking out for sympathizers in the "random voting can be sorta lame" boat.

Voting the mod is possible, but does not mean anything. Voting for anything other than yourself, the other players, or no lynch, has no effect, though it will be put in the votecount if the vote is posted correctly (bold, unvote first, etc.). Andersonw's vote for Hillary Clinton would be in the votecount too if he didn't unvote later. It has no meaning, aside from the fact that it is a waste of your vote. Now start making normal votes.

I'd love to classify the joke as meaningless, but I know better. I've had an experience in which someone jokingly claimed their role only to reveal it later. Well, since it isn't a pro-town role, I'm labeling it as suspicious. Can't breadcrumb an anti-town role either.
