Sorry I couldn't get back in time to make up a big, fat, juicy lie for the town. I had such plans....

And you were all amazed that I didn't want to role-claim... mathcam even said what I'd been thinking all along: that you'd never believe me even if I did role-claim. Imagine that... now perhaps you see why I refused to for all this time, and why I got so frustrated when you people repeatedly hounded me demanding the role-claim. Bah.

Well, I'm a man of my word, and I made a promise yesterday. Go Town!

"Westley, what about the R.O.U.S.'s?"

"Rodents of Unusual Size? I don't think they exist...
oof

But you know better...Dourgrim, Rodent of Unusual Size, is now feeding several Brutes.

It is now night.

This should have been done at dawn yesterday (Day 5):
Talitha
is limping about – the result of a nasty wound on her leg.

Yes, it's a mod error -- get off my back. I'm allowed one per game.

And now...Day
SIX
!

Hey! No one died again. Cool.

Eleven left -- majority is six. Have at it.

Interesting Dourgrim....usually people save their "ha, I told you so!" remarks for when they were actually telling the truth... :)

I guess I'll wait for any investigation results before trying to decide who to after.

I can confirm that my "innocent" results may have been sent to Talitha (or mathcam, or jadesmar).

I'm really curious as to what the deal is with these no kills.

Well, the person I was looking at next was rite, followed by Fishbulb. I've already explained why in previous posts, but I'll be happy to do so again if anybody is interested. Unless I'm convinced otherwise, I'll be voting rite today.
Does anybody want to revisit that math assignment given by massive? I'll concur that mikehart's answer was way off, though (like Talitha) I can guess why. I did something similar myself at first...

Looking at the posts with a finger in his eye? Random result rolled on a die? Performing calculations while he was high? His ex-girlfriend made him cry?

(OK, I made up the last one.)

I have no possible way to explain and I missed all day yesterday so I gotta go back and re-read. Talitha, give us your innocent (the one you investigated) so we can add it to the stack.

Which one of you is Montoya and DIDN'T see Dourgrim hinting at being Montoya for an entire frickin' day!? Yeesh. "I have a limited investigative ability that stopped when I found out mlaker (Rugen hint hint) was a bad guy" I mean come on. :)

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe our remaining scum CAN'T kill. And since Vizzini didn't do such a good job at killing in the movie, I'm also ready to vote rite.

Well I have to say I really expected the game to be over when we lynched Dourgrim yesterday. I have no real clue on why there have been no kills lately but I think there must be a doctor or a roleblock involved, because otherwise I'd be dead.

My investigation was on mikehart, and he's good.
I'll let rite tell you who he investigated.

I have to say I'm not really comfortable about lynching rite, for the reasons I've mentioned earlier. I'm kicking myself now for not investigating him last night.

The investigation was that mole is good.

Although I can see why y'all are suspicous of Vizzini, I wonder why you are so eager to lynch me. What good would a scum role be that reveals the innocence or guiltiness of a person to TOWNIES. Not one of my investigations has been wrong so far. At least give me the benefit of the doubt, huh?

I also missed yesterday completely (It's weird; I'm in two games that had a day that lasted shorter than the night that preceded it).

Do we want to talk about why our last two lynches have required a vote less than usual? My guess would be two players are/were secretly disenfranchised, or one of the players voting for both of them (Talitha, Fishbulb, or Sugar) has two votes.

And rite- As I said before, I wouldn't think too much about putting your mechanic on a mafia spy, or a mafia ability to make up and send out investigations.

No, I wasn't. But if my vote counted as double, it would work out. I even looked back at CRiX's voting and his only vote on someone that was lynched came too late (and followed by another vote) to determine anything.

rite: If you're Mafia, then the only "result" you didn't already know was that Dourgrim was the ROUS, although it sure became obvious once we narrowed down the choices, and you already knew who was Mafia. It also probably became clear he was lying about receiving the night-one info about DP being innocent, so of course he's got to be the ROUS to you (again, if you're Mafia). I don't count your results as being proof that you're pro-town. Let's not forget the possibility that you may not be able to prevent yourself from dispersing that info ... that you get role info, possibly, and then give innocent/guilty out to townies.

But, let's go on the supposition that you're pro-town. Of the remaining players, between you and DP/Talitha, you've cleared: jadesmar, mathcam, mikehart, mole, Talitha, and Fishbulb2. That leaves rite, myself, Norinel, Someone, and Sugar. If you believe that mole and mikehart and both townies as they say, then you have to believe that Sugar and Someone are also townies via the Townie Proof Act, which leaves you, me, and Norinel as the possible remaining scum. We're assuming you're a good guy for this, which means either myself (Fezzik) or Norinel (Westley) have to be lying. Which of us would you like to lynch, rite?

I figure I got about a 50% shot it's me, so in the interest of self-preservation ;)

massive's clear list, updated with the last few night's info:

Dragon Phoenix (Grandpa, innocent by rite)
Fishbulb 2 replaces CRiX (The King, innocent by rite)
jadesmar (? but innocent via DP and rite)
massive (Fezzik)
mathcam (? but innocent via DP and rite)
mikehart (generic Florin townie, innocent via DP)
mole (generic Florin townie, innocent by rite)
Norinel replaces Darkblade (Westley)
rite (Vizzini)
Someone (generic Florin townie)
Sugar (generic Florin townie)

vote: rite
Given the lack of kills, I'd say the most likely case is rite being a mafia spy (Or maybe we just have good docs/blockers/protectees that haven't claimed their ability yet). After that, I'd look into/lynch the townies who haven't been cleared, massive, and Fishbulb.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Vizzini is scum, but not an actual killer (he didn't kill in the movie, he just got others to do it for him). But because he's a genius for hire who's sharing info with the town, he seems like he's on our side. And I've got a question for rite: why would you send out information to anyone you're not sure is good? You sent "Dourgrim is bad" info to mole on N5, then investigated mole N6. Why wouldn't you pick 3 confirmed innocents with whom to share your info, especially after it seemed that Dourgrim lied about getting the result you sent him?

For what it's worth, here's a list of the two investigators' results, night by night:

Code: Select all

rite DP/Talitha

DP/Talitha Leonidas
CRiX/fishbulb mlaker
jadesmar mathcam
mathcam jadesmar
Dourgrim Dourgrim
mole mikehart

And where'd jadesmar go...

Sorry to double-post, but Talitha mentioned her reluctance to vote rite based on some of Dourgrim's posts. Talitha, could you direct me to those... I can't seem to find them (Dourgrim thinking your role is Vizzini).

Meanwhile, I want to vote rite, but I'll wait. Putting the 4th vote on him now would enable Fishbulb to finish him off, and we're not really in a rush, are we?

I'm not sure what you guys want me to do to clear myself. All I can think to do is ask Talitha to investigate me tonight. If she gets guilty, then goodness, I'll DEMAND my lynch. But I'm helping the town out, here.

As for why results got sent to mole, it was an honest mistake on my part. I'd thought that I had already investigated him.

Sugar, It was Leonidas I was talking about.
He obviously thought DP was Vizzini. Or maybe he was simply trying to make the town think that DP was Vizzini
Leonidas wrote:DP - it's either a Lepton, or you're a reverse cop.
My role is named; what's your name, pilgrim ?
Is it Vezzini ? - I think Vezzini could be a cop because of his intellect.
But would he be competent ? After all he chooses his cup of wine quite poorly.
Or would he even be on the town's side ? After all, he really wants Buttercup dead.
I'm happy to investigate rite tonight if we decide to let him live. If he's pro-town he's a very useful role to have around. I'm having trouble deciding who to vote for though... Maybe the King? Or Westly?
