1. I definitely think you were only following MeMe with not the same reason as hers.
2. Your play screams you're a noob, I already state my RW concerns somewhere, whether you are the scum-noob or town-noob that made me uncertain until your last few comments and that's not exactly because of your call on me.

@al_ko: scumhunting act doesn't add up with overlooking any player at all. Anyway RW's reason, I believe is made-up.

BM wrote:I appreciate the feedback Talitha. I'd appreciate it even more if you could maybe elaborate on your reasoning behind your vote on Wolfcrier, and perhaps most importantly, why you are so sure he isnt the Jester.
I'm not sure he's not the jester, but neither am I sure of
any
player not being the jester. We can't give up our lynches and still expect to win the game so we are going to have to bite the bullet and lynch somebody. Somebody we think is scum, not just the person we think is least likely to be jester.
However, I thought that the post of Wolfcrier's where he asked people to please vote for him is not something the real jester would be likely to say. But it might be something that scum in a jester game might say. I am a little worried though, because that post from wolfcrier came after tyhess's jester claim and before tyhess's recant. If WC is the jester he might have thought it was an opportune time for that kind of comment. After all, asking for votes worked for Greasy Spot.
What I want to do is put pressure on, make him talk more, get a claim, and then decide whether to follow through and lynch him. And hopefullydo it soon, so we have time to move on to someone else if necessary.

Ok time to do our first test of inquiry(trademarked).

unvote

vote Captain Bandwagon

IF Captain Bandwagon shows up as scum, then Wolfcrier is surely scum as well.

IF CB shows up as innocent, then MeMe Talitha AND Holy are surely innocent and can be scratched off the lisit of the possibly scummy and we'd be closer to winning.

Information gain from A CB lynch is pretty solid.

Pooks, do you have ulterior and non-townly motives in this game?

Talitha Talitha Talitha.

The one person I'd never lie to, asking me a question like that.

Ahh such is the world.

I do have motives that could possibly be untownly or ulterior.

One of them would be to keep you alive,

not because I believe it would help the town win(how could I know whether something like this could help the town win when I do not know your alignment?)

But simply because I enjoy your company and the grace with which you carry yourself.

Call me selfish for wanting to keep you around but the idea of lynching you is so unseemly that I would rather not go to it.

So yes I guess I do have motives that are untownly, I am unfairly biased towards the people I love on this site.

Because I
always
save the best for last.

Do you like how Wolfcrier/Captain Bandwagon saw my post and collectively went "OH CRAP" and summarily flaked out of the game?

PRetty good huh.

Yup yup

This is the part of the game where you go:

"WOW POOKY THAT'S AMAZING, I sure wish I could've signed up for the Hapless Dupe Program back when it was easy to get in"

But don't worry. I will still accept applications for the HD Program,

Now you just need to have A) A Cool Superpower(To boost ratings) and B) A Creative Pseudonym(Cuz it'd be bad bad if the bad guys knew who you really were) and C) A Can-Do Attitude.

I know how it is. I'm not voting with bandwagons; they simply happen to vote with me.

~~~~~
I also agree that Pooky's "plan" is a waste of time, but unless I find something particularly scummy about it I don't much care either way. If it becomes a distraction to the town, I will have to put my foot down, however. Additionally, I would advise people against thinking any of this makes Pooky any more likely to be protown than you would otherwise think. Anyone interested in similar things Pooky has done as scum need only look at Goofball Mafia or Simpsons Mafia, although I'm sure there are other examples.
Pooks, please explain to me why I should vote Captain Bandwagon, and then explain to me how a guilty CB equates to a guilty wolfcrier.
While I don't pretend to speak for Pooky, I suspect it may have to do with the incredibly obvious distancing CB is doing to Wolfcrier.
How about the way they have folded under intense scrutiny?
Much like guilty scum running for the border.
This is the equivalent of 2 crooks deciding to hide overseas after they post bail when they realize they don't have a chance in hell of getting through trial alive.
