I would have to say its along the same lines of what everyone else was doing at the beggining of the game....hoping to catch lighting in a bottle....the second reason is that I was hoping for something along the lines of what wolfcrier did....

I made 11 posts on Thursday and Friday, but I didn't get to all my games. I've been gone since Friday to Louisiana (whoohoo Mardi Gras + Ultimate Tournament!), so I haven't even checked this thread until today. I just simply didn't see your post. In fact, I didn't see your post at all until I went back to see when you had posted it. I just saw other people replying to it.

Personally, I would have been inclined to think you might have been mafia claiming jester, but retracting your claim makes me think it's less likely.

I am not a fan of Sarc ending day 1 so quickly, but from what I've seen of his play so far, that isn't exactly a scum tell for him.

I can buy MeMe's vote on me for lurking (I honestly haven't had anything to go on and didn't want to make a post like this strictly because its like blood in the water "contentless post" and such).

I'll go back and reread some people on their own and see if I can come up with anything that way.

its obvious that whoever this jester is, he/she is a terrible awful player who does not realize that with 2 nightkills happening during the night and only one lynch occuring each day, his/her odds of winning are way better by claiming than not claiming.

that said, let's not beat a dead horse any further.

The Jester is an awful awful player, I'm going to just accept that.

I was going to suggest this myself. I'm not going to ignore players I think are scummy on the basis of W[hat-if-they-are-the-jester]IFOM. Probably the absolute

easiest

way for scum to distance from their partners in this game are comments like:

I think X is scummy, but I think they are the jester.

Hooray! Scum can claim to be suspicious of their partners without any of the drawbacks!

^ Note: I would actually bet $1 that at least one scum has already distanced from a partner with a comment along these lines, but that is neither here nor there.

I will try to devote some time to rereading this game, but I expect to be fairly busy soon.

I was not buying tyhess's claim from the moment he said it, but I didn't know how to respond. He just threw it out there, rather than make an actual attempt of a claim out of it. I believe that tyhess is not the jester, and also that tyhess is town, but I also have to say that it wasn't a smart move for town to make.
