Also, free gold Volcanosaur if you log in today.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

After not playing for ages, came back and opened a Lyra the Sunshard. Built a silly fun priest deck, climbed from 25 to 15:

it's not good but it's hilarious, and this certainly isn't the tightest it could be tuned. That said, both Lyra and Radiant Elemental are totally nuts.

I'm trying to make a n'zoth priest work with the new quest.

It's not working.

I'd go with exodia mage but I don't have the wing from karazan that has the babbling books

I think the Quest is a lot easier to complete than they expected. I don't know if things will get better as decklists get more refined and maybe can deal with the quest, but it's not particularly difficult to have the rogue quest completed by turn 4-5, and there are videos of people completed on t2. I can only assume that Blizzard thought it wouldn't be near that consistent.

The only issue i have had with the quest so far is mimic podding one of the high cost cards (specifically sprint) that isn't really useful early on.

The only thing stopping me from calling it completely busted is that it doesn't kill you faster than pirates does. So I'm not sure if it's actually OP, or if it's preying on overly greedy and inefficient decks.

pirates was less consistently good against everything though

shaman (aggro, control, and midrange) and dragon decks and even renolock could stand up to pirate decks and then flip the game

here, i dont care what deck you're running, you're not gonna stop the deluge of 5/5s charging into your face

Even if it made things 4/4 it definitely would still be viable

Yeah it just wouldn't be a one shot kill if they can make a board on the turn they complete it (which they normally can)

speaking of the rogue quest

I opened my three free packs and then got that in an arena pack from my last bit of gold, and then spent pretty much all the dust I had from the year switch/classic cards going to wild to make the rest of the deck (I don't have a second Preparation/Patches/swashbucklers in mine but everything else seems pretty solid, I'm using the 2 mana murlocs that summon a 1/1 taunt minion instead since they're great for bouncing)

so i'm probably gonna play this for like a week or two, get further into ladder than i ever have, and then stop playing for another year when it eventually gets nerfed

I'm on a seven game win streak grinding my way up from twenty using the following list, it's completely demolishes all the rogue decks and has a nice match up against most other aggro decks.

Circle of Healing x 2
Inner Fire x 2
Northshire Cleric x 2
Potion of Madness x 2
Power Word: Shield x 2
Divine Spirit x 2
Novic Engineer x 2
Radiant Elemental x 2
Shadow Visions x 2
Wild Pyromancer x 2
Acolyte of Pain x 2
Injured Blademaster x 2
Kabal Talonpriest x 2
Gnomish Inventor x 2
Priest of the Feast x 2

I've been beating quest rogues on turn 4-5, it's quite fun and only involves 2 epics and the vast majority of the cards are commons from the base set.

I mean you only beat rogue if they fuck up, because they have all the advantages in that they can keep the duplicated card in their hand while they trigger the quest.
